Finally, after 6 days in the hospital, I'm home.
Scary times and thought this was it - end times for me but the Lord was there watching over me - not my time yet. I went silent and didn't know if I'd come back home. SLOW recovery, patience, and y'all know I'm not all that patient, but I am wearing my smile. Sitting for long periods it out, and writers sit a lot, so I'm still figuring that part out. Just glad to be alive, and thank God for one very big miracle.

One bad therapy session has turned into a painful nightmare, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All the doctor appointments and surgeries, however, have cost my daughter's job and that breaks my heart. Don't know what I would have done without her doing all the things I can't do yet. Today a shot in the spine. Hopefully, it works. Tomorrow is the second in a series of 4 surgeries. Painful yet necessary and have already proven they will help make life fun again. Pain is weird. Comes when least expected, but when I look around at others worse off than me, I feel so blessed. Chin up as they say, I have things to do, and a couple are ready. Gives me a reason to get excited. My reactions to several projects so far are great, and all those kind words have assisted me in getting through it all. THANKYOU
