Y'all don't tell me the Universe don't respond to us, Y'all around here summoning bears and here we are telling people to be careful, there is a bear nearby living it's best life roaming & frolicking. Lowkey, I wanna hug the bear AND love on the dudes who get a bad rap. Or I can square up with either. (Like right now, this nice American gentlemen in a jacket making sure I am connecting on the internet just fine and if I was enjoying my wait. I gave him a look, he walked away) Anyway...

We need to Pick a struggle.

Entrepreneurship is a ministry. When you realize your service/products and idea is to reach people who can be impacted positively by what you cultivate, the works of your hands are blessed and not a single entity (human or spirit) can manipulate your gifts from you.

That is why it's harder for entrepreneurs to get paid for their work. They sometimes become discouraged by witnessing people who grift, con and steal ideas. But know this, "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.” ACIM ~ What that means is this: Love is real. It's an eternal creation and nothing can destroy it.

Be a administer of love by continuing to work on your ministry of entrepreneurship.

I've been doing research on PTSD and how it impacts social development and relationships. SO when people get angry at others for NOT standing up for themselves when they really believe should defend others when they should

PTSD is partly the reason many won't deal in conflict, PTSD in a person that's healing may have alternate impacts, like actually looking to resolve conflict and won't stop until a past or current problem is resolved.

HOWEVER, a seemingly passive person who agrees with everyone even though they don't or they loathe something or someone is a way to avoid confrontation that could result in many acts of violence, mental breakdown, abuse, su***de and other issues that outsiders who don't recognize PTSD. I had to really sit with this. I get why people avoid what they believe is negative or avoid people who are direct and take on confrontation.

PTSD have levels to it and we have to be mindful and non-judgmental of those who don't or won't respond how we expect them to.

BECAUSE baby listen, I was about to leave EVERYBODY about a week ago. Therapy, prayer and mentors help a LOT.

PTSD has many levels of emotional avoidance. We have to learn to hold space for each other. PERIOD

The Ghastly Groove: A History of "Monster Mash"

"Monster Mash" is a song that has become synonymous with Halloween, a playful and catchy anthem that has delighted generations of listeners. Written by Bobby Pickett and Leonard Capizzi, this ghoulish tune has transcended its humble origins to become a timeless classic. In this article, we will delve into the history of "Monster Mash," exploring its creation, its ascent to fame, and its enduring legacy.

I. The Birth of a Monster Hit

The story of "Monster Mash" began in the early 1960s when Bobby Pickett, an aspiring actor and musician, was performing as part of a band called the Cordials. Inspired by his impersonation of Boris Karloff, a legendary actor known for his portrayal of Frankenstein's monster, Pickett came up with the idea for a novelty song based on the monster theme. He teamed up with Leonard Capizzi, and together, they penned the lyrics for "Monster Mash."

II. The Recording and Release

In 1962, Pickett, with the help of producer Gary S. Paxton, recorded "Monster Mash." The song featured Pickett's distinctive Karloff-like vocal delivery and eerie sound effects that created an eerie yet playful atmosphere. Released as a single by Garpax Records, "Monster Mash" quickly gained attention, and it reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in October 1962.

III. The Cultural Phenomenon

"Monster Mash" hit the airwaves at the perfect time, just before Halloween. Its catchy melody and entertaining lyrics captured the imaginations of people young and old. The song's success inspired various novelty dance crazes, and the "Mash" dance became a popular addition to Halloween parties. Bobby Pickett, now known as Bobby "Boris" Pickett, became an overnight sensation and a Halloween icon.

IV. Legacy and Ongoing Popularity

Decades have passed since "Monster Mash" first dominated the charts, but the song's popularity has not waned. Every Halloween season, it re-emerges, reminding people of the fun and whimsy of the holiday. It has been covered by numerous artists and featured in various forms of media, including movies, television shows, and commercials.

V. The "Monster Mash" Revival

Bobby "Boris" Pickett continued to perform and make appearances, keeping the spirit of "Monster Mash" alive. In the 1980s, he recorded a sequel titled "Monster Rap." Pickett embraced his association with the song, appearing at Halloween events and festivities until his passing in 2007.

Conclusion:

"Monster Mash" is more than just a song; it's a Halloween tradition. It captures the spooky, yet playful, essence of the holiday and has left an indelible mark on popular culture. As October rolls around each year, "Monster Mash" once again creeps into our lives, a testament to the enduring power of catchy tunes and the magic of Halloween. Bobby "Boris" Pickett and Leonard Capizzi created a masterpiece that reminds us that, even in the world of monsters, there's room for a little dance and fun.
