You can now tag products from any Meta shop on Instagram, without needing to be the shop owner. Great news for small businesses in the run up to Christmas!

📷 Encourage your followers to share pics of your products they've purchased with tags on the post so their followers can shop too.

👫 Use brand reps? This makes it easier for them to promote your products.

🎅 Also, could be used personally to drop hints to your loved ones as to what you'd like for Christmas 😂🙌🎁

Instagram is testing the use of multiple links in user bios... but how helpful is this going to be? Being able to link in individual posts would be much more beneficial!

Adding multiple links in profiles is just going to clutter up bios. Far better to stick to linking to a landing page on your website with links on it or, if you can't do that, use a third party tool such as Linktree. What do you think?

TikTok has rolled out downvotes to all users, as a way of helping to identify negative behaviours based on what users think is bad, which effectively then helps to improve automated algorithms.

“This community feedback will add to the range of factors we already use to help keep the comment section consistently relevant and a place for genuine engagement. To avoid creating ill-feeling between community members or demoralize creators, only the person who registered a dislike on a comment will be able to see that they have done so.”

Now, all users will be able to flag inappropriate comments with a 'thumbs down' response.
