Farewell

I miss you, I really do

I'd wake up every morning with brand new hope saying "maybe if he saw me he'd see the face of the one he once knew".

Before this moment I only wrote about me but today I'm writing of the girl whom for you I wanted to be.

You went away on a Saturday morning never to return without a warning. Yeah, I know nothing lasts forever but maybe you would've remembered me if you stayed a little longer.

At least you wouldn't have to suffer, looking like you have nothing to offer.

Pointless is what I call what I'm about to do but hi, I'm your granddaughter, it's nice to meet you

Yeah, I wasn't the best nor better than the rest but there's still something, for me I really wish you'd do. Just look at me from heaven even if it's once and say hey, I know you.

I miss you, I really do but farewell is the only thing I can say to you

When I close my eyes, all I see is you and I really hope you think about me just as much too. Everyone says it's unhealthy but I can't help that all I want is to be noticed by you🥺.
When I close my eyes, all I see is you. I really hate that feeling but what can I do?😭 Although you're far, your heart seems near, and I'm doing my best to push it away out of fear😢.
Fear of what? Of me, you, love? No. That undeniable feeling that kicks in when I think about us, cause I know you're not the one for me anymore😔
I tried and tried to keep you out of my mind and suddenly I saw a light shine, that light I've been trying to find✨
When I close my eyes, all I see is you but the you I see is not the one that was meant for me😢I turned away and looked again because this time I noticed, you're finally fading away 😕
