We do not eat out all the time, we are on a budget like most Americans. My husband just married well and I can cook. The other important thing is we try to eat as healthy as we can most days with a splurge here and there. Tonight I made homemade pasta carbonara with chickpea pasta and the way it should be made with eggs and fresh parmigiana! Pancetta as well!! #dinnerisdone #rvlife #RV #rvlifestyle #eathealthyfood #pastanight #pasta #TrailRunning #hikingadventures #foodiesofinstagram #foodlovers #RoamWithPurpose

A note to Mr. Toby Keith’s loved ones.
Very few people in this world would convince me that they deserve a hero's welcome or goodbye without serving like my husband and our other heroes who have served.
Toby Keith, through his music and advocacy, has often shown support for American veterans and their families. His songs like “American Soldier” and “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” resonate deeply with those who have served and their loved ones, providing a sense of pride, camaraderie, and understanding. His efforts to raise awareness of veterans’ issues and his involvement in various charitable initiatives have further endeared him to the veteran community, making him a symbol of support and gratitude. For a veteran’s family, Toby Keith’s support served as a source of comfort and appreciation, knowing that our loved one’s sacrifices are acknowledged and honored by a prominent figure in American culture.
With that being said, Mr. Keith, I imagine the welcome party was filled with camo and cheers! We have sent way too many through the gates after they walked through Hell on Earth and I know every one of them lined up to cheer you on like the hero you are.
When many turned their heads and kept quiet you stood up and showed your class and heart for our military and veterans like no other.
The tears I shed today when I heard the news was one of true sadness but selfishness. Cancer sucks. “American soldier ” and “Courtesy of the red, white, and blue” will always bring tears to my eyes.
To my gold star families I know he will host the concert of a lifetime for your loved ones, for his family and friends I am so sorry you have to navigate this difficult news and loss.
Please know from this wife of a Disabled Veteran, that you sharing your gem with us and the world changed many lives for 4 min and 30 seconds showing an entire group of war heroes that someone out there cared enough to never forget them.
So Thank you Toby and know we will miss you so much!
