If I’m proud of my body, am I conceited? If I’m insecure, am I “asking for attention”?
I look back at old photos of myself, and I feel shocked remembering that I disliked my body. And it’s upsetting that I used to want to go back to my 16 year old body, make myself smaller to fit a beauty standard that even when I was modeling (and fit all the measurements) I was still asked to shrink myself.
And I realize the reason I stayed stuck feeling insecure, is because if I’m confident- I’m conceited. And If I’m confident OR insecure- I’m seeking attention either way.
So might as well love ourselves, take up space and yes- even act confident and “full of yourself” because the people, industries, sports and communities that judge you don’t deserve to be in your life anyways.

a big part of my fall routine has recently been cycling on my new XBike
and honestly I’m in LOVE! The classes are engaging because the goal is to bike to the beat of the music and the bike itself is affordable. They also have sculpt classes like HIIT and full body strength! That you can do with their fully rotating screen
Especially with it becoming colder outside, I find it’s much more enjoyable to do cardio inside in the warmth ❤️

being healthy doesn’t mean you have to fit an aesthetic - you can work out in pajamas - you can grab a granola bar instead of make yourself a bowl of oats - you can go for daily walks instead of running - you can eat a sweeter breakfast / pastry and still have a healthy, balanced diet - you can skip breakfast and wait until lunch… your health and your diet is unique to you and all of this, is still “effective” in progressing in your health / fitness journey!! Woke up and decided to do some sunrise yoga before a quick weights session, not because I “had to” but because I genuinely enjoy movement now. It’s never a “have to” it’s a “I get to!” Honestly when I’m traveling I like to have some form of workout routine because if I’m on the road constantly it makes me feel more grounded and present. comparing a year ago to now, my relationship with food and my body feels so completely different there are days where I feel like I’m bigger than I was before starting my food freedom journey, but my life has grown to be bigger too. I know I’ve stopped talking about eating disorders and Ed awareness as often as I used to, and that’s partly because I feel like I’ve grown so much, and I personally don’t want to stay stuck in a negative mindset.
