Entering my 'guru' arc 😂
Over a year ago I grew my following by over 400k in less than 90 days with short-form video.
I went full-time as a creator, but after reaching that goal, I felt lost...
Then I started helping others with their content and found my mojo again.
I helped one friend gain over 1m across YT, FB, TT, IG in 72 days.
I helped another friend gain over 64k on FB + hitting 4 figure days.
I helped another friend land brand deals.
I helped another guy gain 11k on IG after being stuck.
But I started facing a new challenge...
Do I keep focusing on my main account 'Rory Bland', or do I shift my core focus to a new account and lean into becoming a short-form 'Guru'😂
Truthfully I never wanted to teach this stuff.
I just wanted to do it myself, but I ended up enjoying it more than my main channel...
After a lot of praying and looking at my skills, my passions, my different short & long monetisation strategies, and my goals...
I realised that it was inevitable that I go all-in on positioning myself as someone who helps other businesses with content.
I saw an incredible opportunity to help a lot of people make better content, help businesses sell more stuff, and if we are being real - I also saw an opportunity to make a lot of money whilst doing the above too... which would enable me to step into my philanthropy goals wayyyy sooner.
My ultimate worldly goal is to co-own a million acres of farmland to be used for regenerative agriculture, change the way we eat, and feed as many people as I possibly can.
I wanted my main channel to be a vehicle to make this happen without having to rely on making $$$ from it.
Thankfully, my grand plan has been revealed, and now I am leaning right into it.
I'll still be posting on my mains (coming back to it soon after an almost 4 month hiatus), but my core focus will be 'Rory Makes Content' over on IG for a while...
I'm currently taking Hormozi's advice and focusing on 1 offer, and 1 core channel to drive traffic to the offer until I hit my first 100k...
That offer is my 'Ultimate Reels Course' and the marketing avenue is of course, IG Reels.
I'm aiming in the first 12 months to hit my first ever $1m online, and first $1m with one funnel/product specifically. Earning me a noice little 2 comma club award from my boy Russell Brunson.
Currently sitting at around $2241 before I officially go live with this thing.
I've been building out the course and curriculum over the past 3 months and making it literally the best Reels course on the planet (that's the goal!), and if I do say so myself it's looking pretty slick...

I'll be marketing the course by doing exactly what I am teaching in there too!
So not only will I be working towards $1m in sales, but I will also be driving forward to hit 1m followers on a new account from scratch.
After all, I want to be a real guru, not a fake one!
Anyway I just wanted to make this really long post to share what I'm up to, and I'm excited to share the journey with ya'll over here too!
