In case some folks who come to my Timeline do not know, with the advent of the lockdown four years ago, I started streaming. I picked up an HD camera and a Yeti microphone, downloaded OBS free software for recording, set up a Twitch channel (on which I record) and a YouTube channel (where I upload the videos after recording). Here's how they look (linked below in comments) after four years and nearly 500 shows.
Keep in mind, I do this as a fun sideline and only spend an hour a week, streaming live for about ten minutes, adding the video to YouTube, then sharing the YouTube link on all my social media avenues. During the lockdown I did a show each and every day. The next year, I did a couple of shows a week. Nowadays, I just do the one show each Monday morning.
Others do a more professional job than I do, editing their raw footage and putting together the footage with effects, but I don't want another job, just an extra outlet for my hobby gaming thoughts and opinions. Hopefully, I give folks some insight into gaming practices going back to the early 1970s including the advent of D&D in 1974 and beyond. I hope you find my videos useful and enjoyable!
