Though I have taken a break from social media for the month of January.... I'm hopping on to share this article from "Forward From 50". I was able to join Greg on the Froward from Fifty podcast in 2024.

Praying that it encourages more women over 50 to join me in encouraging moms through relationships over social media. It is a ministry we can engage on from the recliner.

Through her Facebook group and Instagram account, Pam strives to be a digital mentor, offering wisdom and support to moms who feel overwhelmed and isolated.

I graduated from high school in 1990 and after working in guest services at summer camp for awhile decided to go to dental assisting training at a community college. That was the extent of my academic pursuits.

I’ve been deep in the trenches of motherhood and don’t regret my investment in family one bit! But- ever present in my heart has been a desire for more formal Biblical training.

This fall I was able to join a leadership training class at my church. Nothing makes me stumble over my words as much as being in a room with classmates (and a teacher) 20 years younger! 😆

I’m so impressed by their hunger to grow in their faith walk and service to the Lord. Can’t wait to see the future ministries that are led by this crew! ❤️❤️❤️

When you walk in to find the 9yo in process of a “face transplant” because the puppy chewed the face off her favorite wolf stuffed animal.

Two teddy bears were sacrificed for the transplant..... but that’s ok because nobody liked those ones anyway.

There is no one like this girl.

I’m so excited for my friend ! HER BOOK IS OUT! We have been in a writing mastermind group together for 4 years. I’ve watched as this book has gotten closer and closer to the finish line.

Mary is an inspiration as she has launched a writing career and started learning social media in the second act of life.

It’s the season to start sewing! My temporary craft station is set up. Half of my projects are complete.

I used to have more projects but now I look at my days more realistically so I shortened the list! Started with my mending and “must do”. Next up my creative endeavors. Can’t wait! 🎄🎄🎄
