I cannot wait to get this full video out tonight.

Unfortunately it’s a long one, 45 mins actually but i was trying to build a story with this one so even if you need to watch it in parts I hope it comes across that way.

A camp that literally had it all…..

Inversions / sunset / sunrise / clear dark skies / Aurora / fog bow / broken spectre

I mean, someone was looking down on me this weekend. I thought we had it good on Beinn a Glo last weekend but this really is gonna take something magical to top.

Carn Ghluasaid, Sgurr Nan Conbhairean and Sail Chaorainn ticked off on this round. Only met 2 couples in over 24 hours, both lovely to speak too.

October Summit camp - Leum Ulleim (Corrour)

Had a summit camp up on Mid Craig above Loch Skeen in October too but this one was always gonna be Octobers.

Got a few planned for the last two months. Hoping at least one is full winter conditions so let’s keep the fingers crossed 🤞

September Summit camp - Ben Vorlich

First time out with Steven Anderson, we had a blast on this one. Arrived early enough we could get settled into camp and enjoy a fantastic sunset. The stars popped overnight and then the sunrise was just movie quality good!

August summit camp - Robinson (Lake District)

I had a toss of a coin with this one. Had Dale Head to pick from here too. Both Lake District camps with similar views and conditions. Went with Robinson as it was higher camp and I’d say it was nicer camp overall. Sunset was stunning
