I am excited to share that I am heading back to PVHS this summer and fall to coach the JVA team for the 2024-25 season! 🏐 🎉

Excited to see these athletes again and how much they have grown since last fall.

Had so much fun helping coach Lil’ Flurries tonight at ! These young athletes were awesome tonight and I loved helping them with agility and learning some fundamentals of hitting. 🏐

Look! 👀 It’s 18 YO her senior year playing in the regional championship tournament in Columbus, Ohio circa 2001. I was a MB and apparently loved messy space buns. 😂

This was such a fun season - albeit 20+ years ago! I remember my coach was so supportive and so funny. Most of the girls on my team were my closest friends - most of us had played together since 7th grade. So many memories reenacting SNL skits between matches (the era of and Will Ferrel cannot be topped!)

I loved playing volleyball so much and even though high school was tough (politics and favoritism and bullying made it hard but made me mentally tough and a better coach today because I can support my athletes better from my experiences)… playing JO was a release - such a culture shift which made it so fun. Our team was one, not divided, not vying for playing time, not jealous of catty toward each other…. and we truly supported each other and played for each other. So many great memories!

Athletes today, I hope you all find your volleyball tribe and even at younger ages, learn what sportsmanship and being a good teammate looks like. Build amazing memories from the start - on or off the court.

Former athletes, I hope you all have fond memories as you look back on memory lane. Keep that fire in your heart even if it’s been decades since you last played.
