Daniel and Bryan Eatmon aka "Old E" and "Bleezy" are brothers who grew up in Northern California's Emerald Triangle, Menodocino County. Old E started writing rhymes in 2004 infusing a west coast style flow with a mountain cannabis culture lifestyle. Creating an original sound that was built up independently from the underground, Bleezy "the beat maker/producer" is the foundation of the Mendo Dope
sound. He started making beats soon after Old E began writing and creating unique rhythms combining all genres of music and forming a new strain of music. In 2009 they released their debut album presented by "Reek Daddy of N.O.Y.B. Records" entitled "Welcome To The Jungle" Distributed by City Hall Records which hit #13 on the top 25 best selling Rap Hip-Hop CDs. Mendo Dope grew up on and were influenced by west coast artists such as Mac Dre, 2 Pac and a variety of underground music, as well as reggae musicians from the Marley's, Sizzla and many more. Still recording underground, in 2011 Mendo Dope inked a deal with IODA distribution and released two more albums "Dopeville" and "For Tha Cuddies", then in 2012 they released 12 original albums, one every month, totaling 241 songs! In 2013 Mendo Dope released their highly anticipated hip-hop/reggae double disc album "Planters Of The Trees", dedicated to the g***a farmer's and medical patients around the world, and began working with legendary producer "K-Lou" for platinum production and quality sound. Soon after Mendo Dope got a sponsorship with TGA Seeds, one of the biggest ma*****na seed company's in the world, and released yet another project "TGA's 10 Pack Of Mendo Dope", a one of a kind cannabis culture album dedicated to TGA Genetics. Now in 2014 Mendo Dope has starting buliding there brand with merchandise (t-shirts, hat pins, frisbee's, skateboards) and planing on releasing three more albums to there catalog, and touring the states performing live music.
