Vince Guaraldi was a big fan of the music of Antônio Carlos Jobim. The pianist recorded versions of Jobim's "O Nosso Amor" ("Our Love") and "A Felicidade (Happiness)" for his 1962 album 'Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus', which is considered Guaraldi's breakthrough album and made him a household name.
On18 November 2022, the deluxe edition of the widely-hailed album offered 16 bonus tracks, including 12 previously unreleased selections, including unreleased versions of Jobim tunes.

'Into Somethin'' was the Blue Note album debut from jazz organist Larry Young. It features a quartet of Young, tenor saxophonist Sam Rivers, guitarist Grant Green and drummer Elvin Jones.
The album was recorded on 12 November 1964 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

The album featured a version of "Dear Old Stockholm" that used the arrangements of Stan Getz.
