**UPDATE: This handsome lad has a new home. 💙💙💙

This sweet boy is on his last days through NO fault of his own. He deserves better.

If anyone can help save him please contact Matt at Matty’s Sanctuary URGENTLY.

This boy is 8 year old, sweet natured entire male.

Matty’s Sanctuary is desperately trying to find this boy a home. They don't have him and with the massive vet bills they have at present, they are trying to find him a home.

Available for adoption: Camels 🐪

We are helping a friend out trying to find forever homes for up to 40 camels 🐪

- please do your research before thinking a camel may be a suitable fit for your property

- strong fencing is very important , electric fencing is a big bonus with these strong creatures

- Camels eat a huge amount of food , they do eat black berries and weeds but when summer comes they will require hard feeding or round bales to keep them in great condition

- these are Girl camels and for a pet home only

- we have a friend who will help transport them to forever homes for a fee , camels aren’t easy to load and will not just simply lead into a float like a horse so if your aren’t a professional in moving camels I highly suggest you use our guy

Please inbox us for other requirements 🐪❤️

It makes me so proud of John to see him living his dream. He's gone well beyond his first proposed trek when he first camel to me to learn about camels and camel trekking.
It comes back to a saying I told John during a training session when he was learning:
"If you want to be a swimmer, don't listen to a tennis player."
Who knows, perhaps there are other prospective camel trekking adventurers Like John Elliot out there who would like to be taught as well.
In time, I might be in a position again to assist would be camel adventurers with their dreams. For now, I have another task at hand.
Well done John. Your actions, dedication and stickability is very Inspirational to us all.

Spending equal amounts of time pondering what’s on the horizon ahead and reminiscing on the journey so far.

Started to finally put the words on paper for the book, delving into the notes and video diaries along the way.

Right now I’m writing about the evolution from my past life into my present mission.

It was almost 4 years ago, on the eve of the Melbourne cup when I was at a dinner where a girlfriend mentioned camels, a few days later I googled “How do you buy a camel?” And here we are today!
