Babyface releases the following statement after being kicked off Anita Baker's Tour.

" I am saddened by the news that Anita Baker has decided to remove me from the "Songstress" Tour. It's unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out via social media. While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates, I have nothing but love and respect for Anita I wish her nothing but the best for the remainder of her tour."

Anita Baker kicks Babyface off her "Songstress" Tour after saying she was being bullied by fans of her Special Guest/ Support Act Babyface.

According to Anita, Babyface has been breaching his contract as an opening act by staying onstage past his set time, which cuts into her headlining performance.

According to the news there were serious technical issues, which delayed the show by about two hours. When everything was finally ready to go, it was decided that Babyface’s set would be called off, so that Baker would have enough time to perform her headlining set. Babyface’s fans were pi**ed off and things have only escalated from there.
