To commemorate the occasion in Yemassee, this Sunday November 17th at 2:00 ShellRing Ale Works, with Dustbone Apparel and Grounded Running, are hosting the L̳a̳b̳ M̳o̳n̳k̳e̳y̳ F̳r̳e̳e̳d̳o̳m̳ R̳u̳n̳!
Monkey costumes or Lab Coats encouraged!
Catch the Monkey! A fun run for walkers, joggers, competitive and non-competitive runners, and stroller pushers. We encourage everyone to dress as a Lab Technician or Monkey. Prizes will be awarded to anyone that beats the monkey. The course is yet to be determined as this is happening very fast. We wanted everyone to have time to order their costume.
$20 Registration includes:
🐒Commemorative race t-shirt
🐒A Shellring Beer
🐒Live music pre and post race
🐒Proceeds to benefit "Born Free USA" An organization dedicated to rehoming Monkeys
A local legend Monkey will be on the course with plenty of shenanigans and malarkey. Any runners who beat the Monkey to the finish line will receive a wild prize!
The race will begin and end at Shellring Ale Works.

Comment below with your bid and which banner you are interested in. Winning Bids Benefit Direct Relief, who provide Medical Aid to Hurricane Impacted Communities (more below) including those impacted by Hurricane's Helen and Milton.

The winning bids will be announced on November 18th! We will post regular comments on the current highest bids. Banners can be picked up in Charleston, SC or Tampa Bay area, FL Festival Producer, Simon Cantlon was directly affected by Hurricane Milton, losing his apartment in St Pete, so this fundraising effort is very personal.
