This is my favorite lizard of all time. When I first walked into a pet store 20 years ago they had a huge tank with uromastyx. I never bought one until 5 years ago. They were always lizards that sold for $200 when I seen them I was always like maybe next time 😂 finally when I bought one it died. I never experienced the hard road with any reptiles like uromastyx. Reptile keeping seemed so easy and the uromastyx changed so much on how I think and what I know about the reptile hobby. My next YouTube video will talk about how lots of people in America struggle to keep these guys in captivity and how I now save tons of uromastyx like my boy Osiris pictured above. When I got him he was skin and bones. Now he’s a healthy boy enjoying his bioactive tank getting his older adult colors. Can’t wait to show you my journey with this species as it was not an easy road for me but my love for them helped me really understand so much of these guys.
