Alans Recording Page Welcome to my page! I sing cover songs. That's about it really. I don't ever use fancy voice manipu Feel free to download any of them and as many as you like.

This is a page where friends, family and anyone who are interested in recording can browse through some of the covers that I have recorded. I have in the past, been in bands and groups of all different sorts since I was a teenager. In those days, a lot of the electronics were built by ourselves from kits etc. Couldn't afford 'proper' stuff. It was way out of our league and was only available to p

ro musicians. Over the years I managed to get some recording gear together. First a simple 2 x track tape machine with 'Sound on Sound' facility where the tracks had to be bounced back and fourth until it sounded a 'mess'! Graduating slowly to four track, then an eight track and so on. Now I use a 24 track digital system as well as a PC based 'unlimited tracks' digital workstation, mastering software and a professional CD burning machine. It's all done in a spare bedroom at home. Luckily, we are detached and don't have any complaints from neighbours.
