Leg 1 of the trip home complete! We have a 4 hour layover in Brussels, but it took 1.5 hours just to get through security. I've never had to go through security checks for a connecting flight! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The good news is that they made you walk through a mall of stores on the way to the next terminal. Guess what they had this time... ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

I got a chance to attend my first International Women's Day ceremony here in Liberia. It was powerful to see women come together and unite in an effort to counter and eliminate injustices and inequality shown to women in Liberia. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

From what I understand by talking to powerful leaders, some of these inequalities are rooted deep in customs and traditions. However, change is happening and the momentum is building! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Happy International Women's Day to all of the amazing, inspiring, talented and intelligent women around the world!

Is it Day 6 already? Can't believe that we're closing in on a week here in Liberia.

We did a lot of running around today, taking care of logistical things for both the groundbreaking and the IT seminar. I was even able to officially register a business name that I'm working on. ๐Ÿคฏ

However, my favorite part of the days when I got to step into my passion and speak to the Juniors and Seniors at st.Simon Baptist School System in Monrovia.

We originally had room for 50 kids, but thanks to this site visits it looks like we may have to expand to 65.

Please pray that my presentation on Monday provides hope to at least one child. I'm constantly asking God to provide guidance so that they will understand and put into action the things we will teach. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

We got to meet Bleejay Innis in person and checked out his beautiful Atlantic View Residences on Robertsfield Highway today! We discussed his vision for Liberia and how it aligns with what we're trying to do with Kingdom Relationship Network.

He also gave us great tips and advice on working with builders in Liberia!

Stay tuned - potential collaborations ahead!

Wow - what a whirlwind Day 2 -4 has been! Time is flying so quickly, and we still have much to do!

Day 2 was focused on heading out to Malema Town, Bomi County, which is the place where we are building the Kingdom Relationship Network Children's Village.

We only planned to go and take a look at the land, but the villagers had prepared a huge welcome and tribal dance for us! They also presented us with the official deed to the 10 acres they donated.

The best part of the visit was meeting the children we'd only seen remotely. These precious babies were so excited that they wanted to walk us to our piece of land. They were pushing and shoving to have the opportunity to hold our hands as we walked! ๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’“

Our hearts and spirits were definitely filled by the experience. We return on Thursday for the final groundbreaking preparations, and the official ceremony is on Saturday.

Days 3 & 4 have been about finishing the planning for next week's IT & Career Paths Seminar, where I will be the keynote speaker. We already have 40 of the 50 student spots filled!

We still need sponsorship for the five kids from Malema Town wanting to attend. If you'd like to support giving these kids the opportunity to attend, I'll put the donation link in the comments. Anything helps!

Day 1 in Liberia is complete!

We have a lot to accomplish before the Kingdom Relationship Network Children's Village Groundbreaking ceremony next week, so we hit ground running! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ

1st stop was to get the internet up ans running and get a local sim, so we stopped by Lonestar Cell MTN to get hooked up. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Let me say, navigating through traffic in Liberia is something beyond description that you have to experience yourself. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ With the insane amount of super aggressive Keke (the three wheeled vehicle in the pictures) and Motorcycle Taxi Drivers, traffic laws seem non-existent & unenforcable. ๐Ÿš•๐Ÿ๏ธ

We dropped by the infamous Grand Royal Hotel, Monrovia, Liberia to take some pics. ๐Ÿจ.

Then, it was off to stop a couple of Albertina's local family members, where I got to eat my first traditional Liberian meal of Fufu & Soup! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Next stop was to finally meet some of the KRN Liberia team members in person. After many months of meeting via video conference, it was like a family reunion! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ Shout out to Edwin, Edwin Jr
& Teenzee Massaley, Zinnah Johnson, & Joshua Douboson for their hospitality. It was too dark to get pictures. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Finally, we went by Blazed-In Restaurant for some amazing food. ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฅ–๐Ÿฅ—

Day 2 we get to head to Malema Town, the small village where the KRN Children's Village will be constructed. Exciting times!

I've been in a LOT of airports both large and small, but getting bags in Monrovia was an experience like no other! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Praise God for protecting us during travel, and prayers for continued covering during the trip! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

The 3D Rendering of the Kingdom Relationship Network Children's Village has been delivered from the architect!

It is so amazing to see Albertina Nyantee's dream start to come to life.

We would not be where we are, and won't be able to get where we need to go without supporters like YOU!

Your contribution will help us to bring
the village to life for these children & their families. Join the movement and visit our website to make a donation!
