Oval Harmonique is very proud to release a new intricate EP by the Danish free-form band Mana Pool.
Their music is an uncompromised, intuitive exploration of the boundaries between acoustic and synthetic realms, united in a captivating symbiosis between machine and human.

Through this musical journey of discovery, Mana pool creates a mosaic of poetic, abstract soundscapes intertwined with powerful rhythmic sequences.

Their music is a harmony between the technological and biological elements from which it arises. Worlds of sound brought to life in a unified expression of pulsating euphoria and a melting inward darkness.

In 2016 a computer was stolen.
No back-ups were made. So we thought.
Years later a dusty hard drive resurfaced. A relic of forgotten times. A precious find.
Within its depths, mystical sounds from a bygone era.
Dug out. brushed off. Enlivened.
Once lost, now reclaimed.
Ours once more. And now yours.

ABOUT:
Our very own brain-surgeon Doctor Evazan is pimping the Oval ambulance once again!
Assembling his rusty tools and preparing to dislodge your brain plate.
Placing his dark, sticky fingers and beats on the frontal cortex like an unholy yet harmonic tuning fork.
Bring out your stethoscopes and otoscopes, x-ray your brain and let the Doctor grab his surgical scissors for the necessary cuts, and his secret pipette for the sacred medication.

These beats were made in December -22 and January -23, and they were originally made with rap-vocals on top.
The crate diggin' surgeon then handpicked some of the beats, and removed the vocals with his lazer-tools.

There is music in the air around the operating table.
