Three years later, WHRK returned with his sophomore effort, S6000, a captivating journey through experimental electronic landscapes.
Today, we are thrilled to unveil WHRK’s third full-length release on Oval Harmonique: Invocations.

With Invocations, WHRK continues to redefine boundaries and push the limits of his own sonic exploration. This time, leaving behind the hyper breakbeat rhythms for a more introspective album—a journey inwards rather than one for the dancefloor.
This is an album where WHRK fully immerses himself in the world of hardware, crafting a sound that balances technical mastery with raw emotional resonance. The tracks on Invocations were produced over many years, blending older and newer recordings into a cohesive, timeless narrative.
A relentless student of both hardware and software, WHRK creates music that is as innovative as it is evocative. The album is a testament to his diverse musical roots and his continuing determination to push himself forward, breaking new ground with every release."

Active for over two decades, Eriksson has released music under various aliases, including Nge Duo here on Oval Harmonique and Doctor Evazan.

This time, he presents a sonic journey where dreamlike, earthy textures merge seamlessly with celestial drones. Channeling the pioneering spirit of early '90s collage music, this release offers two tracks of ethereal soundscapes—music for interstellar travelers. Welcome to the world of Toffe—a longtime friend of Oval Harmonique, residing at the southernmost tip of Sweden. While his music is stylistically rooted at the crossroads of ambient, dub, and techno, Toffe draws inspiration far beyond the studio and soundsystem. Each sound he crafts is like a hand-painted canvas, capturing the deep "vemod" of the lush Scandinavian forests—a melancholy, a reflective sorrow entwined with beauty. Like a bonfire by the lake on a quiet autumn night, Toffe's sonic landscapes offer warmth and comfort as you gaze at the stars.
The concept of "vemod" has origins in ancient Norse mythology, drawing from the word "ve," which refers to a sacred place or state. In the mythic Nordic worldview, nature itself was believed to hold such sacred spaces—places to feel, contemplate, and connect with something greater. Toffe's music invites listeners into such a space, a sanctuary of timeless emotions where nature comes alive, offering both solace and reflection.
On remix duties, Six Fingered People, Grey Form, and Bent Breaker present three unique, broken-beat interpretations of "Skogsdjupet," deepening the enchanted atmosphere of the original with their own distinct twists.
Two tracks, "Första stigen" and "För dina öron," are collaborations with Toffe's close friend Nosa. Their partnership brings warmth and companionship to the music, each note resonating with a shared bond. These tracks embody and reflect their friendship, reminding us that nature is not only a place of contemplation but also of connection and togetherness.
