Creating fun videos using REAL people
For more than 9 years I have been shocking the public as the bronze cowboy, a life size bronze statue on exhibition in Scottsdale Arizona.
I have hundreds of videos capturing the surprising reactions over the years. I invite you to follow the adventure as I share my story through my videos.
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I graduated Florida State University and spent more than 15 years as a Men’s Apparel buyer. I consider myself an artist and creating the bronze cowboy character was a natural expression of bringing art to life.
It all started as a challenge on Halloween to see if it was even possible to fool people as a statue. I do not consider myself a street busker or entertainer. When I perform I consider success when people pass by and do not recognize me as a person at all. I wait perfectly still, concentrating on my illusion. It is only when someone’s curiosity draws them to close or when they sit for a picture with a statue that I reveal my true identity. I do no intentionally scare people unless I am bored. I prefer to let people make their own mistake in judgement and this way I am not to blame for surprising them. This method leads to laughter and not anger. It is very rare that I have a negative reaction.
