Our Story
It wasn’t so long ago that I was digging through a box of files marked for recycling at my grandparents’ home in Houston, Texas. Inside the box were electrical diagrams, blueprints, briefings, reports, and a gag memo outlining a company policy on streaking through the office (joint streaking inside the supply closet was strictly forbidden). The files were what remained of my grandpa’s long career working on the space shuttle, and it was among these that I found a cache of letters.
Most of them were written by “A. Huxley”, and being a literature minor I naturally freaked out.
