Horses often the key to survival out on the Frontier. The Guns & Gallows TTRPG has a detailed rule section on horses, including 17 different breeds of mounts, clearly defined speed and endurance for each horse, and a horse bonding system that allows you to improve your horses abilities as your character increases in level. Horses can even acquire Knacks (similar to Feats) over time.

This is our current full-time project. Creating a Wild West table-top role-playing game that allows players to have the kinds of characters they want, and that allows GM's to run the kinds of campaigns they want to run.
