House Music producer & DJ He’s surrounded by music early on thanks to his father’s record collection, consisting mainly of vinyls from the 70’s and 80’s.

Romeo Louisa is a young producer, jazz pianist and DJ from the French Riviera, specializing in House Music with vintage and soulful aesthetics. The taste he acquires for this sound quickly pushes him to recreate what he hears on piano and on drums, leading him to undertake Jazz lessons during the rest of his school years. At 17, Romeo leaves France to study music production and sound engineering i

n London. This course allows him to channel his Funk, Soul and Disco influences into House, which becomes his favorite medium for artistic expression. It also gives him the chance to meet numerous producers like duo Funk Cartel or THEOS, who encourage him to put his work forward and showcase it on social media. Thus he initiates a more professional approach, with his first single released on label ‘Thundr’ in 2019, followed by his first EP on Bla Bla Music the next year and topped off with a vinyl on 44km/h Records. Since then, Romeo multiplied his appearances on various projects, featuring on THEOS’s EP ‘We Miss The Crowd’ and on Zintrie Records’s Various Artist album, alongside artists Kicks and Denyl Brook. Simultaneously, he affirms himself with solo works on other labels such as ‘Shall Not Fade’, ‘Houz’ and ‘Deux Mesures’, approving him as a DJ in both Paris and the South of France.

Romeo Louisa est un jeune producteur, pianiste de Jazz et DJ originaire de la Riviera Française, se spécialisant dans un son House aux touches Soulful et vintage. Il baigne dès le plus jeune âge dans la musique grâce à la collection de son père, principalement composée de disques des années 70 et 80. Le goût qu’il développe pour ce son le pousse très vite à reproduire ce qu’il entend au piano puis à la batterie, l’amenant ainsi à prendre des cours de Jazz pendant toute sa scolarité.

À 17 ans, Romeo part étudier la production musicale et l’ingénierie sonore à Londres. Ce cursus lui permet de raffiner ses goûts musicaux aux influences Funk, Soul et Disco pour les regrouper dans un style House, qui devient son moyen d’expression favori. Il lui permet aussi de rencontrer de nombreux artistes comme le duo Funk Cartel ou encore THEOS, qui le motivent davantage à mettre son travail en avant sur les réseaux sociaux. C’est ainsi qu’il entame une démarche artistique plus sérieuse, avec un premier single sur le label ‘Thundr’ en 2019, qu’il enchaîne l’année suivante par un premier EP sur BlaBla Music puis un vinyle sur 44km/h Records. Depuis, Romeo a multiplié les apparitions sur divers projets, en Featuring sur l’EP de THEOS ‘We Miss The Crowd’, et sur le Various Artists de la Zintrie Records aux côtés des artistes Kicks et Denyl Brook. En simultané, il s’affirme en solo sur de nombreux autres labels tel que Shall Not Fade, Houz et Deux Mesures, qui l’imposent en tant que DJ aussi bien dans le sud de la France que sur Paris.
