It was a true honor to work with each of our authors this year—we are especially honored to have worked with two new authors from 3DTC. These young adults are rigorously studying and effectively teaching God’s word. Keep an eye on them! The Lord is using them! We can’t wait to see how he develops their hearts and minds with His word.

We’d like to give a special shoutout to 3D graduates, Moe and Lily on the publication of their essays in True Grace Books’ Grace & Truth Volume 2! 🥳👏🏻

Shall Never Perish Forever
Dennis M. Rokser

If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ and His finished work alone to save you, is your salvation eternal and secure? Or can eternal life be lost, given back, or forfeited? Are believers in Christ on divine probation with their destiny uncertain, or will God's grace and power keep them saved forever? These are the crucial questions which SHALL NEVER PERISH FOREVER asks and answers from the Bible in clear and concise terms. The book contains 32 chapters of varying length, consisting of 5 major sections: (1) "Identifying the Issues" of what eternal security does and does not teach; (2) persuasive "Scriptural Support" for this controversial but crucial teaching; (3) a thorough explanation regarding the "Absolute Assurance" of eternal salvation and why some people don't have it and reject eternal security; (4) a warning of the serious "Consequences of Carnality" in a believer's life and how to have assurance and victory in Christ; and (5) "Probing the Perplexing Passages" that are used by some to deny eternal security (over 40 passages are analyzed and answered). SHALL NEVER PERISH FOREVER is not a boring book of dry theology but is written from a pastor's heart while interacting with the text of Scripture, using down-home illustrations, tackling perplexing passages, utilizing helpful charts, and making practical applications and appeals to the reader. SHALL NEVER PERISH FOREVER has strong endorsements from leaders of several evangelical ministries. If you are unsure of your eternal salvation and want to know with certainty that you are going to Heaven when you die, or if you are a relatively new believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and need to become established in the faith, or if you've been a carnal Christian and want to find your way back to fellowship with God, or if you have struggled with life-long addictions and need a firm foundation for assurance and practical victory, or if you have known and grown in Christ for a number of years and need further encouragement and edification, SHALL NEVER PERISH FOREVER will greatly help you by clearly and faithfully explaining God's Word on this crucial subject.

Freely By His Grace
Classical Grace Theology

If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross alone to save you from hell, is your salvation eternal and secure? Or can eternal life be lost, given back, or forfeited? Is the believer in Christ on divine probation with his destiny still uncertain, or is he kept saved forever by God's grace and power? These are crucial questions that God has answered with absolute certainty in the only book He ever wrote- the Bible. The purpose of this chapter is to spell out in clear terms what God says about these important issues. If you are unsure of your eternal salvation, this chapter should be extremely helpful to you since God wants you to be absolutely assured of your salvation and to "know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). If you are a relatively new believer in Jesus Christ as Savior, it is imperative that you be firmly established and solidly settled regarding the security and assurance of eternal salvation so that you can properly "grow in grace" (2 Peter 3:18) and not be "tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine" (Eph. 4:14). If you have known Christ as Savior and have grown in your relationship with Him for a number of years, may this chapter still be exciting, enjoyable, and edifying to you as it reminds you of God's great and precious promises even "though you know them and are established in the present truth" (2 Peter 1:12).

Freely By His Grace
Classical Grace Theology

Vince Lombardi is widely recognized as one of the greatest football coaches of all time. Legend has it that on one occasion, after a particularly tough loss for his team, he gathered his players in the locker room for the usual postgame speech. In a short but poignant statement the coach cut right to the heart of the matter. Holding up a football, Lombardi quipped, "Gentlemen, this is a football." His point was not lost on the players: Their performance in the game that just concluded had evidenced an utter lack of competency in the very basic fundamentals of the game.

A survey of the state of American evangelicalism reveals a similar incompetency when it comes to the basics of the Christian faith, namely, the gospel. There is a crisis regarding the nature of the gospel within evangelical theology today and very little is being done to address the issue. While most evangelicals agree that Jesus Christ is the object of saving faith, there is widespread inconsistency regarding the specific content of saving faith. What is it about Jesus Christ that one must believe in order to have eternal life? Are there certain nonnegotiable truths that must be included in a gospel presentation in order for it to be considered the pure gospel? An abandonment of certainty, as well as a general disdain for absolute truth within the postmodern ideological milieu, have created fertile ground for erroneous gospel presentations-each competing for legitimacy within the evangelical church at large.

Freely By His Grace
Classical Grace Theology

The exact and discriminate meaning of the word grace should be crystal clear to every child of God. With such insight only can he feed his own soul on the inexhaustible riches which it unfolds, and with such understanding only can he be enabled clearly to pass on to others its marvelous, transforming theme. Here is a striking illustration of the fact that very much may be represented by one word. When used in the Bible to set forth the grace of God in the salvation of sinners, the word grace discloses not only the boundless goodness and kindness of God toward man, but reaches far beyond and indicates the supreme motive which actuated God in the creation, preservation and consummation of the universe. What greater fact could be expressed by one word?
