🚨 It’s finally happening.. Red Dead Redemption on PC

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption has been confirmed by an unintended PlayStation Store leak.

It will include:
- Higher resolution & frame rate options
- Support for multiple displays & other accessories
- Spatial surround sound
- Content from GOTY edition & 2023 console versions

This news and intel comes just one year after Red Dead Redemption released for the PlayStation 4 with backwards compatibility 60FPS gameplay supported on PlayStation 5.

In RDR2, cutscenes can change depending on Arthur’s honor level. For example, Dutch will approach Arthur with his gun cocked if the player has low honor; whereas, with high honor, he takes his finger off the trigger.

No remaster, no remake, no upgraded textures or assets. Just a $50 port for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 where multiplayer isn’t even included. We got more value out of this exact same game 13 years ago and they are trying to give it to us again (except with a limited platform port). This is what’s called a scam. What a complete waste of everyone’s time and money.

🚨 NEW CONTENT UPDATE CONFIRMED For Red Dead Online This Month

Exciting news from the Rockstar newswire: a fresh telegram mission set is set to drop in Red Dead Online this August. New challenges are on the horizon for players. It's been almost a year since the last telegram update, which added 3 Skeldings contract missions in September plus a bonus Halloween themed telegram mission. SteamDB shows no signs of a new title update set for August. This indicates the new telegram update might be a server-side tunables change, similar to the September 2021 update as opposed to September 2022 where we received a downloadable patch. While this could be a blessing in disguise as no new game-breaking bugs should be introduced, it also means we have to wait longer for fixes for issues like the stable glitch, naturalist and collector bugs. The August release for this new telegram mission bundle has caught me off guard. I was actually expecting a September drop. Maybe Rockstar has another announcement up its sleeve for the Red Dead franchise next month (RDR1 Remastered)? Recall the telegram dialog leaks in February 2021. We have about two telegram updates worth of unused dialog left. That suggests Rockstar could have telegram mission content planned through summer 2024 and 2025. Rockstar's stance on not adding any major DLCs or expansions to Red Dead Online seems unchanged for now. But, post the anticipated RDR1 remaster release, it is possible we see renewed focus on RDO. 🚨It’s finally happening.. Red Dead Redemption REMASTERED!

RDR fans, something huge is on the horizon. The Rockstar Games website update revealed a new entry: "Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)". This is likely the much-awaited RDR1 Remaster. Along with the new reference, they dropped a shiny new logo too. It's getting real folks, the RDR1 Remaster could be closer than we think! Brace yourselves, because the reveal of RDR1 Remaster seems imminent! With Take-Two's earnings call just a week away, the timing couldn't be more perfect. Take Two will absolutely want Rockstar Games to drop some major news on the remaster in time for their report. Now for the eagle-eyed amongst us, there's an interesting detail - the old TM is now a Registered Trademark R. A small but significant change? Think not. Here's why it matters. The TM symbol is used for unregistered trademarks, while R signifies a registered trademark. Registering the trademark gives Rockstar the exclusive rights to use it nationwide in relation to the listed goods/services. It also hints at plans to use the trademark on a wider scale. So, this change suggests Rockstar's firming up their legal rights to Red Dead Redemption and may be gearing up for a bigger rollout – which all points towards the anticipated remaster. Keep your eyes peeled for an official confirmation from Rockstar. Exciting times ahead!

4 years later I’m still amazed at the astonishing similarities between New Orleans in the late 1800s and Red Dead Redemption 2's breathtaking depiction. The incredible graphics and lighting in RDR2 have truly blurred the lines between the virtual and the real 😮
