Our Story
Common Room began as a place for ladies who enjoy in-depth discussions on both pop culture and lifestyle. It was an attempt to merge the Entertainment Weekly type content with that of Glamour/Allure/Marth Stewart. It was a Common Room for the renaissance woman.
In 2013, the crew’s main product was the podcast and as the team grew, more wanted to contribute posts, reviews, recipes, playlists and more.
The podcast audience grew and our content only got better and better. Potterweek is a notable success as were our International Women’s Month episodes and our Star Wars special episodes.
In 2016, most of the team was focused on full-time jobs or other life changes and Common Room had to slow down.
