the problem isnt that you cant change it, like esp on a prom dress you’re gonna get it altered and you can just stitch up the slit, but my problem lies with the fact that a dress like that does not need a slit and yet it’s there, and it’s so common. i just genuinely am curious why are slits becoming the default? like a massive portion of dresses i see have ginormous slits even when they’re not the shape or style where slits look good or are generally sought. idk i just feel a little icky at the thought that so many dresses have unnecessary slits cause its almost like a subtle sexualization on a large scale? i know lots of girls like slits for comfort or flattery and there is no problem with that—but not every girl does like that or want it, so it’s unfortunate that even when you’re not looking for a dress with a slit you will more often than not find a dress you think you like only to find your leg is hanging out and if the wind blows in an unholy direction the world will see your goddamn undies because it’s such a massive slit. so am i overreacting or is it as weird as i think it is that slits are now in so many dresses that dont need slits, like it just feels icky in a way. nothing wrong with slits, i think slits are fun and sexy In Dresses That Are Really Flattering With Slits or When You Are Looking For A Dress With A Slit. why are we throwing slits in cottagecore dresses😭that just does not seem right to me (please please take this is as genuine confusion as someone who isnt partial to slits for myself—not making any judgements about others here, only the industry who seems to be making increasingly more dresses with large slits which i know is probably because many people like them and they follow trends but still idk idk idk) (im sorry) (please help i just dont want anyoen to misunderstand) #foryou #reelsviralfb #viralshorts #fypシ

ok so i lied (BUT THIS REALLY IS THE LAST TIME because now im satisfied and feel that how it looks reflects how it makes me feel which means i can rest now), sorry this is embarrassing i just like this dance so much and im so happy being able to watch myself progress the more i do it, and idk why but i felt like editing this one but idk if its even cool or not, im tired💀 anyways i love seeing the difference even just a day has made from the first one, i feel like im so much more comfortable even than before when i was just schmoovin to songs. i will also say it’s nice getting to try things like this because the dance studio was a nightmare for my self esteem, it didnt feel like a safe environment to try things i didnt feel totally comfortable with yet because i might look weird (and that was my biggest fear back then). well anywways i need to go to bed im havent slept eeeerrrrm professional yapper waow waiw woaowowow sorry iaiaia
