I guess the start of 2022 wanted me in bed. I tried everything but had a migraine from around 11am and its still hanging round despite me sleeping for 2 hours. Unfortunately, no exercise today and I'm upset about that, I really wanted a New Years Day walk. I did try and go outside twice, but walking made a thumping in my brain and the white snow made it impossible to open my eyes. I'm going to have to let today go and prepare for tomorrow. Reading and walking and bottle sorting on the list for tomorrow. No matter what life throws at you. Keep bloomin'! Thats my new hashtag for the year! You should use it too!

Well over a 1 hour walk, and some time outside with the birds. They got hot oatmeal for brekkie today and hot water to drink. Chicken coop is cleaned and Licorice even went for a quick perch under the roof. Saw our golden doodle friend today and her n Rae sniffed butts haha, and I met a new person in town today named Jen and her dogs name is Tessa. She has a BEAUTIFUL dog. Looked like a pitty cross. Light brown and white and so kind. We order Chinese food for supper and I will be picking it up at 7pm. For now I am having my bath with my eucalyptus bubble bath!! What a great day

was rest day. My hip needed a break and for some reason I've got a headache this evening. Oh well, I'm drinking water so it should go away. We had a new doggy visit us today named Sir. He is 2 and is a shepard/collie mix. He and Rae got along and he played in the snow for 10 minutes or so while I chatted with Sam from She braved the snow to deliver my chicken feed! So grateful for her. For some reason the garbage truck couldn't come by, but she did! Maybe she should work for the CVRD haha. Anyway, it was good to rest today.
