So during covid my recruitment business went bankrupt and my husband lost his job. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family. We could not afford rent, we could not afford food. We had to take out loans to survive.
I felt the Lord leading me to look for remote jobs in the USA. We are from South Africa. For us to earn in dollars is a lot of money. My husband started his digital marketing agency and it was tough. Nobody wanted to trust people from our country. I did not give up. Every morning I will wake up early, take my laptop and try to find digital marketing clients. Back then I did not know about MRR.
For 3 months straight we did not earn a dime and we needed money desperately. The one day I saw somebody looking for a digital marketer in New York. I sent my husband's CV immediately. The guy mailed us back straight away! My husband had the "job". That job was a blessing from heaven. We moved to a nice house, we could put our kids in a private school near by and we had more than enough money.
Bottom line...it took long! At least 100 days. You can not expect to see results immediately. You can not diet and be thin within 48 hours. You cannot learn a skill in 1 day. It takes practice, prayer and consistency.

What goals do you have?
If you do not have any, sit down and put your goals on paper.
For example:
💅 How much do you want to make per month?
💅 At what age do you want to retire?
💅 What car do you want to drive?
💅 How many hours do you want to work per day.
Set tangible goals for yourself otherwise it is just a dream and you will forget about it. I have started and sold a few successful businesses. Every time I will take en enormous paper and stick it to my office wall. I am old school that way and digital notes are not my style. Every time I will write down my goals, my actions steps and my time frames. If you do not have anything tangible to work towards, you have nothing. And the most important of them all. WHY are you doing this?
Then ask yourself: Are you interested in achieving these goals or are you committed? Commitment trumps all!

Being present in your kids lives is the most valuable gift you can ever give them.
I am going to tell you a bit about my family. Since my son was born, I was fortunate enough to work from home most of the time. Yes sometimes I had at go to work, but mostly I had side hustles and was able to spend time with both my kids. I spent hours on the carpet teaching them things, playing with them and just being there. Sometimes my husband would get so irritated with my because I would forget to wash the dishes and play lego instead. True story!
Is my kids different than their peers? I would like to think so. Why?
👉 They are emotionally very strong and their faith in God is unshakable. They know who they are and what they are worth.
👉 They are crazy intelligent. Writing at the age of 4 and always top achievers. Both of them had like 90/100% for their subjects this term.
👉 They feel loved and appreciated because we are always there to tell them how precious they are.
👉 They are happy well adjusted teenagers who does not give in to peer pressure.
👉 They like us and share their secrets with us. This is a big one for me. A lot of kids dislike their parents and would rather die than speak about something serious with their mom and dad. This can only happen if they trust you.
So did all of this happen because the carpet was attached to my bum when they were small? No, it is because work was never more important than they. In my mind working full time was NEVER an option and I always chose to make a plan to be part of their lives.

To me it feels like I am already old and I am already regretting that I did not take opportunities when I was younger. On Instagram and Youtube you see these super young boys and girls becoming millionaires at super young ages. I know I am using the word super too much now!
I spoke to someone this week, an older lady. She told me that in her younger days, the only way she could make money was by advertising in the local newspaper, rely on word of mouth, or make cold calls. Today, you can have a youtube channel and be so rich, you can work with influencers and sell your products, you can buy somebody elses course and resell it multiple times! The is NO excuse to be poor. There is NO excuse not to live life abundantly.

Starting a business is no joke. To be mentally strong is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing! Some people give up before they evern started. TRUTHBOMB: I have only been doing this now for 16 days and I wanted to give up at least 6 times. My life has been so hectic. I have a million reasons to give up, but will I give up? NO
My sister told me about MRR (Master Reselling Rights). It sounded to good to be true. She showed me all these faceless accounts. Again...it looked to good to be true! A lot of them has been making money like crazy. The one girl I am following has made almost $700k in 3 months. How the heck is that even possible! I was intrigued, I wanted to give it a try and to try something for 16 days is not really trying.
It has been blood sweat and tears to learn how to edit videos and work with Canva. I don't have 1 creative hair on my head. My determination is what made me perservere and I will keep going.

😍 My son is 16 now and it feels like yesterday he was born. The time you have with your kids is SO short. You only have a few year to make an inpact on who they are and what kind of adult they will be. I did work a 9 to 5 job for a while when my kids were small and I hated every single moment. You miss out on so much. The soccer match, the difficult math problem, the sick days.
The don't deserve to get only half of your attention. You don't deserve to be away from them working to make somebody else rich.
