Pro wrestler Sweet Daddy S**i took part in the first integrated world championship match when he faced in-ring rival and real-life friend Buddy Rogers in North Carolina. Both men were threatened by the Ku Klux Klan: S**i for daring to touch a white man, Rogers for helping integrate the sport. Klansmen sat at ringside.

A trailblazer, he appeared at matches in character with bleached blonde hair in sequined robes and Jackie Kennedy sunglasses — a look that wrestlers would imitate two decades later.

S**i broke down racial barriers, making it possible for Black superstars like The Rock and Booker T to win championship gold.

Eric Bischoff met a fan named Amanda at an autograph signing in 2018. She told him about the bond she’d created with her dad by watching WCW Monday Nitro together.
Her father had since passed away, so she asked Bischoff if he would accept the honor of walking her down the aisle in place of her dad at her wedding.
He of course, said yes.

Amanda made him a special hat to wear for the occasion, a black nWo hat embroidered with the words:
“Thank you for letting my dad tag you in”

So, first off we did not miss an episode last week (we're actually not quite sure what happened, it was uploaded but never posted..). We did however, decide that we would take this week off in anticipation of the massive WrestleMania buildup and payoff weeks coming up. So blame it on Peacock editing the actual universe, or call it a funky ole April Fools joke from Paystee and Fat Mack to you. Whatever you decide to blame we hope you enjoy last weeks Beef Sticks Podcast, this week! You'll get great content like the boys reviewing WWE Fastlane, a PPV neither of them could submit themselves to watch, and more news than in recent weeks but still not as much as you'd might hope. This is the part where I'd usually say Snap Into It... but it's been sitting out a week, it's probably more than a bit stale... so maybe we'll go with You Can Look But You Can't Touch! Oh dang, the Bella Twins are going into the Hall of Fame Class of 2021, that joke actually worked!!! XD Happy Easter, ya filthy animals! Keep the change...

Two Brothers... In a Van...

Beef Sticks Podcast was created from an instant brotherhood, bound by a love for Pro-Wrasslin, alcohol abuse, hip-hop, and anything goes humor. When the Immovable Object (Paystee Whyt) met the Irresistible Force (Fat Mack), the planets aligned and fate took hold. In moments the two acquaintances realized they were tied together until the end of time, and accepted one another into their respective families. Many nights were spent at the bar or fireside, debating wrestling's greatest figures, moments, blunders, and bulldogs.

It wasn’t long until they knew what needed to be done, and a few months later the Cloud Style Broadcasting was born in Redwood Falls, MN, housing at the time just two glimmers of a network. Paystee’s on-again, off-again grassroots Blog/Website became Get Local, MN: The Radio Show, and along side it launched our baby, Beef Sticks Podcast, named after the Macho Man himself.

In the early days Beef Sticks Podcast was recorded, well... early. While the duo fought to find their sea legs the premier episodes recording sessions began at 8am, with IPA’s in hand, and often went late into the afternoon with retakes galore. Soon after, lady fate interviened once more and called Paystee back home, t’ward the siren song of the Twin Cities. It was an offer he could not resist, but the pair vowed to keep going. No distance would stomp out the fire burning deep in their loins.

After Paystee moved to Princeton, MN, Beef Sticks Podcast took a brave step in a new direction, airing live. Gone was the safety net of being able to shoot retake after retake, but oddly enough it came effortlessly to them both. In the almost two years since, Fat Mack & Paystee Whyt have carried on each week bringing you new content, constantly making strides to improve our brand, and to bring you quality content. Each and every week the show gets a little better, with listeners in across the state and around the globe.
