Having seen Fleet's Electronic music project evolve since its infancy, we are so excited to to have her perform at for her debut club show!
Coming from a jazz background having been the vocalist and guitarist for years, FLEET has been drawn towards the world of electronic music, and is now creating under her new alias.

FLEET produces thick and jazzy vocal tones alongside light and dark hip hop / electronic pop energies. A beautiful and bad personality on the stage, she draws on intricate rhythms and bursts forth with a heated voice. A proudly self-made visionary, FLEET enriches us with new introspective aural pallets, and with fiery energy gives us danceable hooks that are made to party with the masses.

Introducing Acidalius!

After witnessing his incredibly captivating performance at Sub Club Melbourne playing for our friends at Hardware Theory, It was a no brainer that we had to invite him to join us on our Live + Wax night at my aeon on the 4th of july.

Analogue bleep evangelist and bassline crusader, Acidalius is a veteran performer of live, improvised electronic music with roots in Melbourne's 90’s electronic music scene. Eschewing the limitless inadequacies of computers in a performance environment, he has long advocated for a hands-on, hardware focused approach that not only encourages a more minimalist, purist sound but also opens the possibilities of intuitive and instinctive live sets through muscle memory developed through a deep connection with the machines.

Inspired by the sounds of Detroit, Den Haag and Düsseldorf, Acidalius’s recent sets combine vintage Japanese analogue and modern Swedish digital equipment to create raw, unique, live experiences.

Acidalius has performed locally and internationally, with gigs abroad in Germany, the Netherlands and China. His releases can be found on Slice records (AU), Spin Dynamics (DE), Acid Waxa (UK) and Kinetic (GR) labels.

We are excited to share the artists performing with us at our first edition of
LIVE & WAX, and have given lots of thought to curating a super exciting night of LIVE music downstairs, and the WAX upstairs!

This event date ties in perfectly with our next vinyl release from one of our good friends Atonal Structures, and we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give him a chance to headline our first event to help promo the upcoming release!

For our next installment of the podcast, we have chosen to highlight one of our core members at FPR once again, reigning from San Francisco, California, PLETHORA has been our art director since day one, truly one of the hardest working and most dedicated visual designers to be floating around Melbourne. Having spent the last 5 years perfecting her craft as a DJ & producer behind the scenes due to her immersion amongst the electronic music scene here in Victoria since moving across the big drink.. We at FPR have been blown away by Plethora's dynamic style of afro house, melodic house & progressive techno infused with flairs of different cultures which have she has been blessed to grow up amongst. This year at Tanglewood Festival was nothing short of a perfect picture of where she is at as an artist, and thought it was fitting to showcase her mix as the next podcast in our series.

This recording was taken from our FPR takeover of the Geo Jungle stage on the first day of 2024 at Tanglewood, warming the floor for a selection of our residents, and is sure to get you pumped to party, no matter what setting.

Debuting their new Project, ‘Birds of a Feather’ is the musical hive mind of three of our residents here at FPR, Le'bruh Coskun and Hugoe who have been road testing their craft as selectors with over 30+ years festival experience between them, and are no strangers to curating sonic journeys and experiences for many dance floors in the Australian Doof scene.

Next up we have MABEL:
Known for her artistic output in both the visual and aural mediums, Mabel’s work is a foray into the interests and experiences of her being.

Her artistry adds her signature femme touch to psychedelia, venturing into sonic realms that blur the lines between psytrance, progressive house, breakbeat, and tech house.

Pairing expertise as a DJ with an inventive, finely tuned approach in the production studio has cemented her as one of Naarm’s most sought after headline acts, meaning the city is never too far away from an opportunity to see her unleash her energetic sound on grateful ears.

In 2023 alone, Mabel journeyed to all corners of Australia to further exhibit what is a deep understanding and control of her own sound. Her distinctive style both as a performer and producer has garnered the support of music enthusiasts worldwide, which quickly accelerated her towards a jam-packed debut tour of Europe during the summer of 2023. This included 8 stellar shows across the continent in Berlin (Renate & Fitzroy), London (Corsica Studios), Madrid & Lyon to name just a few – the last of which included a memorable 5-hour b3b with fellow ‘Naarmian’ collaborators suki & Hannah D.

An artist beset with a desire for continual progression, 2024 beckons for Mabel with what is sure to be a busy but thoroughly expansive year of sharing her infectious sound with both Australia and those around the world.

After catching SAFIRA's set at Tanglewood Festival over new years, it was an easy choice to put her on to play at our event THIS FRIDAY at Sub Club Melbourne .

Safira is an Oslo-based DJ with Palestinian and
Norwegian heritage, and has been a driving force
in the Norwegian scene, where she made herself a
name connecting people through music. Her
musical style ranges from deep and dark, to playful
and psychedelic techno.
Ten years ago, Safira started her journey of sharing
music. This initial experience was transformative,
opening her eyes to the joy that music could bring,
both upon herself and the people around her.
Since then she has been sharing her music at
different venues around the world like Golden
Gate/Berlin, The EGG/ London, Rock Water/Goa,
Curandero/Tulum, Chula/Puerto Escondido,
Kosmos/Finland and Where The Wild Things Are/
Melbourne, underground events in Poland,
Gothenburg, and Thailand. As well as playing
weekly in Norway for past 7 years, working as
resident dj and doing booking for Oslo club Jaeger,
Elefant and Ostara.

She is behind the cultural project Extra Delicious,
creating a platform to support local musicians and
artists to perform, network and develop their
talents together. And, at the same time, being one
of the channels for the Norwegian crowd to
experience international artists from the Psy &
Techno scene.

We are excited to welcome Modulor to the next installment of SUPER GOOD #002 - Feather Print Records + Friends @ SUB CLUB MELBOURNE. We have been excited to have her to play an extended 2 hours to warm the room for a while now, and can’t wait to hear her incredibly educated vinyl selections on the Funktion 1s in our favourite subterranean club Sub Club Melbourne this Saturday.

Modulor is a Melbourne/Naarm based electronic dj, with roots from the north of Spain. She is a vinyl selector focused on playing from house to techno, from electro to acid and breaks. Staying away from the four-to-the-floor monotonous vibe, she mixes genres throughout her set adding lots of variety and nuances to the sounds.

She runs multiple collectives, as well as 2 local radio shows, as herself and as Olivas her dj duo project alongside Cilla .lucia

We suggest that you bring a clean shirt, or maybe a new pair of knickers, coz this is gonna get sweaty.

One of our founding fathers here at FPR returns for another killer EP, this time a 2 track atmospheric groove journey, taking us on a sonic trip back to the foundations of the Mad Lucas sound we fell in love with many years ago. Biomass is the techno project of Australian producer Finn Rhodes. The deep, brooding
themes that define his progressive trance project, Ambler, are reinterpreted here in a
slower, more spacious style. Biomass inhabits the grey areas between psychedelic and

ARIA is a local beast behind the decks who loves to play peak time/driving music that uplifts crowds and compliments every style. ARIA's music selection is all tied together with the same high energy, mixing a range of genres that will match any room. ARIA's following has grown immensely in Melbourne's techno scene as a core value in club events across the city. Often the knot that ties the night together, her sound ranges from blow-your-face-off bass to mysteriously hypnotizing melodies.
She has cultivated and mastered her style and sound in Melbourne's nightlife since 2016, from being a longtime regular at My Aeon with Progression Sessions to floating around the festival scene at Burning Seed, Strawberry Fields and Esoteric Festival.

First artist to be showcased from our lineup for our upcoming party on the 21st of July at Sub Club Melbourne is MODAL

MODAL has been writing and experimenting with techno music since 1999. Firstly with drum machines and tape, then moving into the world of PC production but always with a focus set on live performance energy. Being a drummer from a young age, pulsing rhythm and percussive elements are a distinctive flavour to Modal’s music.
With music ranging from deep driving techno to house and disco; sonic exploration and curiosity remain at the heart of the Modal project.
After 20 years of performance and composition Modal remains ready to connect with dance floors and hypnotise bodies and minds. We cant wait to have him grace the booth with us on the 21st.
