July has been busy! All four of these canine cuties were cast in a commercial earlier this month. They were brilliant in their roles!

We cannot divulge the client until the commercials hit the air. So, for now, it’s under wraps. But we are so proud of this canine crew.

COLUMBUS, OHIO CANINE CASTING CALL FOR LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL AT THE SHORT NORTH STAGE!

We are so excited to assist the Short North Stage in casting BRUISER and RUFUS.

In the original production, BRUISER was a Chihuahua and RUFUS was a bulldog.

The wonderful director would be delighted to cast a Chihuahua and a bulldog, but is VERY is open to other breeds as well. Think Papillons, Miniature Poodles, Bull Terriers, and French Bulldogs!

IMPORTANT: The play runs from July 11 - August 11. Thursdays through Sundays, TWO shows on Saturdays.

The dogs would need to be available for a MEET AND GREET with the cast on June 25 and about 1/2 dozen rehearsals thereafter.

There is very little compensation for the dogs, BUT, there is unlimited bragging rights and plenty of theater tickets for the dog owners/handlers. A small fee will be provided to cover gas expenses during the run.

On this National Rescue Dog Day, we are doubly excited to share another Big Lots commercial featuring Angel Dawg talent, Luna!

Luna’s dam was living with a homeless family who loved her very much. But after Luna and her littermates were whelped, something happened to one of the puppies, so her family turned her over to rescue so the momma dog and her pups would have their best chance at survival and long, healthy lives in loving, forever homes.

Luna was adopted in October of 2021 from a shelter by a most wonderful family who trained her and socialized her, providing a safe landing place for this sweet pup. She is super smart and outgoing, friendly and confident, thanks to her adoptive family.

We were so pleased to cast her for this commercial project. Green Blanket Productions wanted an All-American dog who liked water and children. A dog who would interact with dozens of complete strangers in a big back yard setting with tons of activity and a large film crew. They needed a dog to hit their mark over and over and over again, running through a tunnel (sold at Big Lots, btw) in a back yard barbecue/party/pool setting.

Luna exceeded our expectations in every way! She hit her mark EVERY SINGLE TIME. The weather was unusually chilly and rainy and she took it all in stride. Good girl, Luna. You are a star!

Big thanks to Green Blanket Productions, a women-owned and run company, for trusting us with this canine casting project. We hope to work with you again soon.

Thanks to Luna’s family for saying yes to this project and for coming out to play in the rain for a television commercial.

On this National Rescue Dog Day, we are SO excited to share a national commercial for Big Lots featuring Angel Dawg talent, "Levi."

Levi is a very special and sweet All-American rescue dog who was the perfect fit for this commercial production.

He needed to be comfortable in a busy film environment around strangers. And he needed to hit his mark by sniffing out dog treats in the pantry and interacting with the two-legged talent. Nailed it! Good boy, Levi.

Levi was adopted from an animal shelter almost seven years ago. His loving, new family devoted their time to training him and socializing him and giving him the very best life. This is one accomplished rescue dog! Now, he may add on-camera dog actor to his very impressive resume.

Big thanks to Green Blanket Productions for trusting us with your canine talent casting needs. It was our privilege and pleasure to work with you. We had great fun!

And thank you to Levi's family for your awesomeness! Hope to do it all again soon.

Levi and Tovie are both mixed breeds rescued from two different shelters by their devoted and loving owners. They are housemates and best pals.

Meet Han Solo! A sweet, outgoing, well trained Boston Terrier. An “American Gentleman.”

Boston Terriers were accepted into the American Kennel Club in 1893. They are part of the non-sporting group. They are known to be friendly, lively, playful, and highly intelligent. This perfectly describes Han Solo.

He loves to strut his stuff in the conformation ring and has his grand championship to prove it. And this cute little guy is competing at the excellent level in agility. It is a sight to behold!

The camera absolutely loves him. And he knows it. 😎

I also enjoyed a thriving career as a stage and commercial actor for about a decade, so I have a healthy understanding of what it takes to be successful behind the scenes and in front of the camera.

In 2004, I walked into my first dog sporting event and never looked back, immersing myself completely and wholly into dogdom.

I am uniquely qualified and supremely connected to tap into talented dogs from all over the country to meet most canine casting needs.

It’s a wrap! Our first official shoot was a smashing success. Both of our four-legged actors were spot on. So proud of them. We can’t reveal any of the deets yet. This sweet soul introduced me to the dog fancy 20 years ago, completely changing the course of my life.
