7-1-24 Welcome to July 2024! We start off with a bit of a break in the temperatures on Monday but it quickly warms up for the remainder of the week. There will be chances for scattered showers and storms beginning Wednesday and we do see at least a risk of storms for July 4th activities as a weak front moves into the area. 6-5-24 Here's one last 7 day post I'll make before my son's wedding! The chances of rain have shifted a bit as models are hinting at a system dropping down from the NW on Saturday so I've had to include the chance of rain. Both the American and European models are showing this to some degree. Most of Thursday and all of Friday look nice at this point. Have a great rest of the week and weekend and I'll be back posting next week!

6-4-24 Can't believe it but my son is getting married this weekend so posts will be limited this week as final preparations are made. But - here's a look at the rest of the week. Scattered showers will be with us off-and-on through Thursday but Friday/Sat look great with lower humidity and dry conditions. Enjoy!

6-3-24 Good Monday morning! I hope you're week is off to a great start. It will be hot and muggy today with a slight chance of a pop-up thunderstorm. Disturbances will bring better chances of rain and storm Tuesday and Wednesday. Cooler and drier air returns for the end of the week. Have a great day!

5-31-24 Good morning! The last day of May will continue our stretch of nice weather before the weekend sees rain chances returning. After cool morning lows in the 50s again on Friday, highs will rise into the mid-80s. Saturday and Sunday both will feature chances of scattered showers and storms and that pattern lasts into much of next week. Have a great Friday!

5-27-24 Happy Memorial Day. The weather will be MUCH better for Monday behind the system that brought us several waves of showers and storms - some with very large hail and strong winds on Sunday. Highs today will again the in the 80s with partly cloudy skies and only a slight chance of a shower or storm - mainly in western areas this afternoon. Lower humidity levels will be working in as well, helping to drop overnight lows into 50s and low 60s the next few nights! Enjoy the break in the humidity over the next few days and have a great day!

5-26-24 8:30 am - All of Middle TN will have a risk of severe thunderstorms today into tonight with the areas highlighted in orange having the highest risk. High winds and hail will be possible with any storms and cannot rule out a few tornadoes as well. Stay weather aware today/tonight and have a way to hear warnings. The most widespread risk of severe weather will be across northern areas this morning and across entire area tonight.

Showers and storms return on Sunday with a threat of severe weather late Sunday into Sunday night. Make sure to stay weather aware throughout the holiday weekend!
