HOW THE APOSTLES DIED.

1. Matthew. Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark. Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke. Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost.

4. John. Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death.
John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully

5. Peter. He was crucified upside down on an x shaped cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James. The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club.

This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.

7. James the Son of Zebedee was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry.

As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial.

Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of ex*****on. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8. Bartholomew. Also known as Nathaniel. He Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9. Andrew. He Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony.

His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words, "I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it". He continued to preach to his tormentors For two days until he expired.

10. Thomas. He Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Subcontinent.

11. Jude. He Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12. Matthias. The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot. He was stoned and then beheaded.

13. Paul. He Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor to compare to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times For the sake of the Faith.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: But he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Pass on to encourage other Christians. Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer, but stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK. But find it easy to read other books?

Why is it so easy to ignore a massage about God,
Yet we forward the nasty ones?

Why are Prayers getting smaller, but bars and clubs are expanding.

Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity, but very difficult to engage with God?

A boy said to his father "I saw a girl and I want to
marry her. She is so beautiful and she has
gorgeous eyes." The father answered his son "Of
course son, let’s ask for her hand in marriage."

When the father saw the girl, he admired her
beauty and he told his son, "You don’t deserve
this girl, she needs someone who has experience
in life and she can depend on, someone like me."
The boy was surprised by the attitude of his
father and he told him, "She will marry me, not
you." They started to fight and finally they
decided both to go to the police station to solve
their problem. When they told their story to the
police officer, he told them: "Bring the girl so we
can ask her about her opinion about this."

When the officer saw the beauty of the girl he said to
the boy and his father, "You both don’t deserve
her, she needs someone who has prestige like
me." The 3 men started a fight and decided to go
to the minister to solve their problem. When the
minister saw the girl, he said, "She deserves to be
married to a minister like me." The prince heard
about their problem and called them all to help
them solve it but when he saw the girl he said,
"This girl will marry me."

All the 5 men started to
fight. Finally, the girl said, "I have the solution! I
will start to run and whoever catches me first, he
will be my husband." When she started to run, the
boy, his father, the police officer, the minister and
the prince started to run to catch her. Suddenly
the 5 men fell into a deep hole. The girl looked to
them from the top and she said “Did you know
Who am I? I am the Temporal World!!! People
want to run to catch me, they are racing to have
me. By doing that, they forget their God, until they
end up in their grave and won’t have me...."

Moral lesson!!!

Don't forget God because he didn't

YOUR WIFE IS YOUR HELPER NOT YOUR MAID!

Guys please listen.

There is a big difference between a HELPER and a MAID.
You can check that on Google or dictionary if you still doubt.
Your wife is meant to be your helper and not a maid.
Some men has turned their wives into maid.
Even the Bible said it that a wife is a helper to a Man.
(My brother just Check "Genesis 2:18")

(The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”)

How can you leave all the house chores for your wife alone? She is not a wood, remember, she is a human being like you.
Sometimes try to assist her.The worst part of it is that some of these ladies also go to work and still come back with you at the same time in the evening.
She will enter kitchen to put hot water for you to bath,then you will enter bedroom to pull off, as you enter the bathroom to take your bath, she is preparing your meal, once you finish bathing,straight to parlor, your food is already served.

Now she will start washing childrens cloths that came back from school, Teach them their assignment, prepare the food that the children will take to school the next day.
And you are watching TV.
Once it's 10pm you go to bed.
Now the woman will finish everything maybe around 1am before she will come and join you in the bed.
Remember you have slept for 3 hours and she has not even sleep at all.
Now you will start touching her,you need her,
Now if she say she is tired, you will be angry, without knowing that she is also a Human Being Like you.
Maybe she will just try,just to make you happy. Now before she will close her eyes to sleep it's 3am and she will still wake up 5 am to prepare the children for school before she go to her own work.
Please guys try to consider we ladies sometimes. It's not easy at all.
If you help her wash plate in the kitchen brother, you won't die.
If you help her sweep the house,brother you won't die
If you help her wash your childrens clothes, brother you won't die.
Remember,those children are Your children and not her Children alone.
You can even help her to cook in the kitchen, You won't die.
See let me tell you,
The way you treat your wife is the way she will look for you.
If you help her with some works in the house, your wife will look good,beautiful and healthy all the time.
But if you don't, she will get old quick, your friends that married the same time with you, their wife will still be looking young while your own wife is old.
It's because of the way you handle your wife.

Even if you are not married right now,
Please when you marry dear,be a good man and assist your wife sometimes so that she can live long for you.
She won't stop appreciating you for the rest of her life.

Wow this is the most touching piece I've ever read!!
Saw it in a group...
WHAT IF.....
You woke up in the morning and you saw your body still laying helplessly on the bed. You were shocked so u tried calling your sibling who was sleeping next to you and he/she did not hear you mention his/her name.
You tried to pick up your phone to make a call to somebody and you couldn't pick it up.
You started crying but no one heard you. You tried touching the gate to go out, but Your hand penetrated.
You went outside and your house mates were Chating, but you were not recognized...
After some few minutes, you saw your Brothers And sisters coming out of your room shouting and crying All you could hear them say was "SHE IS DEAD"
You stood there watching them cry.
So you asked yourself WHERE EXACTLY AM I GOING. Your spirit started crying bitterly, because you were not prepared to start that journey so sooner.
Where exactly are you going when you stop breathing?
Are you aware of your final destination? So start preparing. Look on to Jesus, He is the only way to the best destination (Heaven).
Be wise! it can take you unawares!!

WHAT A HUSBAND TOLD HIS WIFE THE NIGHT OF THEIR MARRIAGE/ WEDDING

My wife, everyone has gone home. The music is quiet, the celebration is over. Our wedding was beautiful but it is now in the past. We have finished the wedding/marriage, it is now time to build our marriage. All that is left now is the two of us… What we will become tomorrow, starts from tonight. Our life is no longer the same.
There was a day you put on one red dress… You looked so beautiful in it. That Day I wanted to just touch you! We were in the Cinema and I was so tempted. I wanted to just take you inside the toilet and kiss you but I couldn’t. Guess what? Now I have you forever, I can do that everyday.
Before I take off your cloth and make love to you let me tell you few things.
I have nothing to hide from you from this day. My phone, you can use it like your own. You can access my facebook, my twitter and my Instagram
From today, I have become a child. For the past five years of my life, I have been a man. I wake myself up in the morning, sometimes I go to bed hungry, I do things the way I want to. I come home whenever I want to but all that ends today. From today you become my mother, who will scold me when I come home late, a mother who will wake me up at six to go work, a mother who will ensure I don’t sleep hungry. I am glad I have a mother in you.
I hope you will be a good mother? Don’t be too harsh and I promise I won’t be too stubborn. Sometimes I will give you headache but I promise, I will also be the cure of every headache.
When my parents died, I looked after my brothers and sisters. I was like a father to them. So i will not have problem being a father to you. Hope all men wil be as nice as this. Let treat women like egg. Women are precious, they value alot.

TRUE LIFE STORY
My Sister and I lost our parents at the age of 4-5years through CAR ACCIDENT.
After our parents death my wicked uncle and his wife inherited all my parent's property since we were young and promised to cater for us.
Few days later things became worst ..we stopped schooling since he refused to pay our fees .
They mistreat US..living with them was like a hell.
I couldn't bear to see myself and sis suffering..one night I pack out and run away from home with my sis to begin life on the street.
We became beggars on the street ..slept at filthy place .our clothes looks very dirty.
Life was so unfair to us but we had no choice.
Fortunately one afternoon we were begging on the street when one woman in a car ..asked me..
'Where are your parents??'..I started crying bitterly and I humbly told her my story .
She felt my pain and told me I shouldn't worry she will help US..soon everything will be well again .
Few days she came around and took us to her home..I was happy but sad because she's a total stranger to us.
She told us she's got no children so she want to adopt us...we got excited..at last our suffering will end.
She gave us good education and treated us so well.
Now my SISTER is a DOCTOR and I'm an ENGINEER.
Today your life can change to just believe and trust in GOD.
DON'T BE LAZY TO TYPE AMEN.TYPE AMEN

I don't usually do this but after taken my time to read through i found it to be true to an extent and many people can become vulnerable to this new technique of defrauding people. I understand some people can't fall for this cheap trick but that might not be case for other people. Really sorry if i walked in to your privacy uninvited.

Somebody called me with this phone number 07060714545 telling me he was doing some registration online and he mistakenly put my number on what he was registering, that my number is similar to his number and that the password of what he was registering was sent to my phone which I actually saw as 6310.
He was now appealing to me to give him the reset code that was sent to my phone so that he could finish his registration. I told him to call me with the number he claimed was similar to mine so that I could verify his claim, he told me he didn't have credit in that line.
I got online to find out more, only to discover he was actually trying to reset my bank online/yahoomail password and that he is a fraudster, an account hacker and also a 419er. If I had given him the code which was sent to my phone, he would have used it to reset my bank online/mobile app account.
Please let us be careful and vigilant. Fraudsters are devising new ways every day.
This is a new way of defrauding people...
