Thakur Hoshiar Singh, Congress leader and Secretary of the Pradesh Congress Committee, Jammu and Kashmir, addressed the media at Village Sharanfrati, Panchayat Jandial, Nagrota Bhalwal constituency Dist .jammu

He raised concerns about the poor condition of the Government Primary School in Sharanfrati. The school’s toilets are non-functional, and the water tank is not suitable for drinking water as its upper side remains open. Additionally, the road leading to the school is in a deteriorated state, affecting the local residents, who mostly belong to poor families.

Singh further highlighted that the mid-day meal is being cooked on a temporary setup, as no gas cylinder has been provided to the school. Despite various schemes launched by the central government for schools, this institution remains neglected.

Thakur Hoshiar Singh urged the administration, especially the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Education Minister, to take immediate action and instruct the concerned officials to resolve these issues on a priority basis.
