‼️ SECRET ride hack you need to try and SHARE!!! ‼️
Chewie Mode replaces Hondo Ohnaka’s voice with Chewbacca’s for the entire ride!!! All you need is a crew of six to work together and you can unlock “Chewie Mode” on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
➡️ Here’s how:
‼️ DO NOT activate your position right away like you would normally do. You need to do some pre-flight button pressing or joystick movements before you hit the big blinking activation button.
⭐️ Pilot Instructions ⭐️
Each position can go through the unlock procedure independently of the others, but we’ll start with pilot positions because their instructions are a little different from the other positions. Pilots, you will want to put the joystick into the extreme position. For the pilot on the left, that means putting the joystick either all the way to the left or all the way to the right. For the pilot seated on the right, that means either putting the joystick all the way up or all the way down. Once the joystick is in the extreme position, hold it in that position and then press the activate button to activate your position. Pilots are done.
⭐️ Gunners and Engineers ⭐️
Next to each seat is a display panel. All you have to do is press AND HOLD one of the white buttons directly next to the display. While holding the white button, you can then press your activation button.
Ensure all this is completed before the Cast Member checks your seatbelts and hits their confirmation button.
That’s it! If everyone did it correctly, you should hear Chewbacca’s voice during the entire ride!!!

My favorite tip is rope drop! Being there first things saves you soooo much time!! You can cross multiple things off your list with little to no wait time. If you are using genie+ which I also highly recommend, you can start stacking your return times and set your day up for success while everything is still available. We may be crazy, but catching the rides after the fireworks show is such a great time to get more in! Lines are shorter and everything feels extra magical after dark.
Disney park days are long but so so worth it!!!! If only there was a way to not have to walk back out and to the shuttle busses or hotel at closing time. 😂😂

Have you been in Radiator Springs at dusk for Sh-boom?
If not, put it at the top of your list for your next visit to the iconic Cars Land. Every night as the sun goes down the lights come on synced to the music of “Sh-boom.” Some of the cars come out in parade like fashion and the entire area comes alive with joy! It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!!! 🏁
Our first time we just happened to be there dining outside at Flo’s Cafe when the magic happened. We had no idea it was a regular thing, but now make sure we are there for it each time.
Grabbing a table at Flo’s near the main “road” before dusk is a great way to have a front row view to the action, but you can see the charming town come alive anywhere along that street.

Have you tried the raspberry rose macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland? 😋 It definitely lives up to the hype and ranks high as one of our favorite park treats! ♥️
Be advised these are so popular they sell out early on every day! If you want to get your hands on one I recommend placing a mobile order as soon as you walk into the park in the morning.
To order, go into your Disneyland app and search for the Jolly Holiday Bakery. Scroll down until you find the macaron, add to cart and place your order. They will ask for an approximate time when you would like to pick it up and it will be ready when you are. Skip the time waiting in line and ride Pirates instead! 🏴☠️
Another helpful tip: Mobile order pickup can be slow sometimes so I also recommend checking in for your order on your way there. Enjoy!!! 🤌🏽
✨Bonus! These macarons are also gluten free!!! They are in a bakery so cross contamination is possible, but our family of celiacs has never had an issue. Disney is so careful with allergies!
