Whatever happened to ‘Do No Evil’?

“The ‘Project Nimbus’ contract was signed in 2021 between Google, Amazon and the Israeli government to provide the Israeli military with cloud computing and AI, which includes facial recognition, sentiment recognition, tracking, etc. When this campaign launched in 2021, the name No Tech for Apartheid came from the very obvious use that this AI would have for the surveillance of the Palestinians.”

We now know that AI isn’t just being used for surveillance but for target identification in the Gazza jellocide. Just like IBM tabulation machines were used to administrate the Holocaust.

Arab countries surrounding Palestine have been shamefully weak in their support of Palestinians even in the face of famine and genocide. But this article shows that Arab leaders have, for decades, actually hated the Palestinian People - holding them in fear and loathing, and actively colluding, or even engaging in their mass murder and destruction. Might that finally be changing? There’s little sign of it.

There’s only one possible conclusion. With very few exceptions, the senior echelons of Britain’s political class are war criminals. We could be using our money, military base on Cyprus, aircraft, ships and personnel to get desperately needed food to starving people - and it’s our absolute legal and moral duty to do so. Instead we’re actively using our military and economic assets to enforce the starvation and mass murder. Germany’s WW2 war criminals were hanged. Do ours deserve any better?

So. It turns out that all those governments (including UK) that abruptly cut some $700 million in funding to UNWRA (the UN’s humanitarian agency for Gaza) after Israel alleged that a few staff members joined in the October 7 attack, did so based on a four-page dossier that contained no supporting evidence.

The timing of the funding cuts, in the middle of the greatest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century, which the ICJ has determined to plausibly constitute a Genocide by Israel, can only exacerbate the crisis and may constitute a participation in Genocide.

Israel has not provided Canada with any evidence to back up its claim that 12 UNRWA staff members participated in the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct 7. The Trudeau government has cut funding to the agency, which is struggling to deal with famine conditions in Gaza caused by the war.

No, millions of old solar panels are not the next environmental disaster about to strike the planet (as peddled by nuclear and fossil fuel shills). On the contrary !

"Rather than looming as a waste mountain, end-of-life solar panels are a source of valuable materials such as silver, copper, and high purity silicon, glass, and aluminium which can be utilised in the manufacturing of new modules.

“In five years, end-of-life silver and aluminium from PV panels could supply 30% of future PV demand, 50% in 15 years, escalating to 100% in 25 years considering realistic forecast installations.”

Researchers from the University of New South Wales have rejected suggestions that end-of-life solar panels could create a “waste mountain” in Australia, saying instead that they could serve as valuable material reservoirs for future production.

The defunding of UNWRA by major donors including UK ‘shifts most of these western states from their existing complicity with Israel’s genocide (by selling arms and providing aid and diplomatic cover) into direct and active participation in the genocide, by violating the 1948 Genocide Convention’s prohibition on “deliberately inflicting on the group [in this case, Palestinians] conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”’

Israel has long plotted the downfall of UNRWA, aware that it is one of the biggest obstacles to eradicating the Palestinians as a people.

A Google search suggests the BBC's written about the Energy Charter Treaty just twice: once in passing in 2019 to praise it, and in 2006 to report the EU criticising Putin for not signing it. How is this treaty's disastrous impact on the climate crisis not front-page news?

Even the Guardian, so beloved of environmentalists, has reported on the Energy Charter Treaty a handful of times – in its business and highly specialist environment sections. Where is the clamour even in left-liberal media for this crime against the planet to be scrapped?

The Energy Charter Treaty is the exemplar of how a transnational, western elite have stitched up the world to enrich themselves – whatever we wish, whatever the science shows, however quickly it makes our planet uninhabitable. We should not just shrug that off.
