Shane had his annual check-up with all of his specialists last week, and we found out that his lung function and general strength has actually increased over the past two years! 🥳⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The natural progression of SMA without treatment is a downward decline in strength. Shane has been on treatment for about six years, and his strength hasn’t just been stable, it’s actually improved. We weren’t expecting this news, but it was an amazing surprise!
