Few notes from us above - as mentioned we’ll have someone located outside CEX Deptford High Street incase anyone is struggling to find the venue (displayed as the giraffe on the map!) - LAST ENTRY IS 11PM due to the newness of the venue BUT it just means we’re going to be bringing the full vibes from open to close!! 🦾🦾🦾 no warmup acts, only the energy ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Last up, the final contender to finish off this bunch of k**b twiddlers is long time friend and always close associate of Basilica over the years, Kimber.





Kimber, Italian Big Papa, has never ceased to provide the dark matter and energy that bass music so sorely longs for. Kimbers music is dark, large and packs one hell of a punch. This transcendental space is packed with swelling basses, rolling piercing hats and a soundspace that will make you feel you’re about to face off with the final boss.

Rackz282’s music is a force to be reckoned with. Elevated dance music that incorporates slamming drum grooves cranked straight out of live hardware dressed and finessed with granular and groaning pad work and intricate SFX.

Rackz282, hailing from Bristol, has been killing the Bristol and UK alt electro and techno for many years now and is showing no signs of stopping with this incredible piece.

Riz has been a staple in Basilica mixes and radio for a long time. Evolving styles starting as early Swamp style music and now evolving into the crazy and undefinable blend that is now UK Bass and Techno, we see Rizla Ops come through on this VA for the pacey number of the year. 🏎️🏎️🏎️

This one had some insane support already and I’ve been even lucky enough to see it played out in front of me already at Waterworks. This one’s monstrous. 😈👹😈

Next up, we have the vicious laser sharp slicings of Viennas own Brootworth coming through.



The Ghosttown Sound resident has come through with some crazy heat on this VA. ☄️relentless and ruthless lasers and enough kick slams to knock you sideways!

We had the pleasure of meeting up with Brootworth last year at Blitzclub and ever since seeing his furious energy live and the barrage of sound he can put out, we had to have him on this release. This one packs multiple punches, haymakers and roundhouses.

New week and the next artist stepping up to the plate, we have long time Basilica resident and favourite, Kahter adding his rolling bassweight to this compilation.



Kahters reputation precedes himself, being established as one of the UK’s finest representatives of that low and dark pulsing new Swamp sound, with intricate and surgical drum work and huge swollen bassweight.

Kahter has brought us something slightly different and uptempo for this one and we cannot wait for you to hear it.

Now taking the stand, we have a duo from where the weather is cold, the northern parts of the UK (which I consider anything above Birmingham tbf..?)

Hailing from Manchester, Krafty EXE and Meecha are both founding members of the record and events label EXE PROJECT, which has its roots firmly grasped in the darker, weightier side of dance music, bringing forward Dubstep, D&B and Jungle and Leftfield Neuro flavours alike all under the banner of EXE. 🤖👽☠️

These two do not mess about and they keep their label big and dangerous. If you do one thing today make sure to do a deepdive on EXE Projects soundcloud page and get ears on everything!! We’re very very happy to have them bless this VA with some of that northern grit.

‘Aloka has become a noted name in the contemporary electro scene taking the world by storm. Originally from West Wales, he has divulged his talents across a wide periphery of hard-hitting mediums. Aloka launched his ‘Typeless’ label back in 2019 off the back of a momentous string of drops on other imprints, carving out his name as a fascinating artist with an experimental streak. With his razor-sharp productions being championed by gargantuan names, it’s become hard to listen to a mix that doesn’t contain one of his tracks. Add to that his well-honed DJ skills that have seen him headline line-up’s all around the world, It's plain to see the diffuse talent inherent to this guy’s game. Pastiching the base grit of electro and fabricating it in his own image has served Aloka all too well thus far, and now the sky's the limit.’
