"brooklyn 97202" is the first single release off the forthcoming full-length album “i love you now leave me alone” on Cavity Search Records, set for release in early 2024. Directed, filmed and edited by John Coletta (Green Cadence Productions) and produced by John Coletta and Steve Drizos. The video, filmed exclusively in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, is a billet-doux to the place where Drizos resides, featuring some of the landmarks of the area, as well as the beautiful colors of summer in the Pacific NW.

Animated and filmed by local tattoo artist Kat Perkins and KBA's Daniel Riddle. Editing and story by Jason Wilkinson, Color Grading by Jeremiah L. Scott. Recorded at Mazinga Studio, mixed by Brendan Dekora, mastered by Maor Appelbaum Mastering. The music video tells the story of alien abduction on a rural farm where the farmer's teenage goth kids save the day by fighting off the grey alien hybrid creatures.

Mixed by our friend Hugo Nicolson, mastered by our companero Maor Appelbaum Mastering, filmed and edited by the masterful Jeremiah L Scott and his wizard accomplice Jason Wilkinson. We also had the pleasure of working with Brian Alldridge who added cool video effects. Featuring the strange and beautiful Samantha Hughes, Jonathan Moore, Dann Wynn, Kat Perkins, Ripley and Emmi. The last of the Cavity Search Records 30th Anniversary 7" Box Sets are available now via the Cavity Search Records Bandcamp page (link in profile).

Each one of these 30 incredible handmade wood boxes have been designed/crafted by Owen Grau. Logos, video, photos and Box Set booklet created by John Eckenrode. The contents of the box are all eighteen 7" records that Cavity Search Records has released. These are not repressing's, these are original first, and only, pressings of these records with original packaging. These records are not used and have never been played. Each of these records have been stored in the Cavity Search vault since receiving them from the manufacturer. We always knew we would do some kind of box set so here it finally is. We wish there were more copies to go around but this is the last of what we have. Thank you for your support!!!

Pre-order instructions: The first 15 emails received ([email protected]) today starting at 9:00AM (Pacific Time) will be replied to with order confirmation and payment instructions ($130.00 + postage). There is a limit of one box per email order. Each of these 30 limited edition boxes are numbered so if you are collector dorks like us and you desire a particular number feel free to give us 3 numbers between 1 and 30, in order of importance, and we will try to accommodate.

For the first time since its initial release (8/5/2008), the Pete Krebs Trio record is now available digitally. Featuring Pete Krebs in swing mode, the album includes standards from the Great American Songbook, inflected with Django Reinhardt stylings. Krebs’ original composition “Katyn,” inspired by spy novelist Alan Furst, takes its name from a forest in Poland where a terrible massacre occurred in 1939. Other tunes tip their hat to Gypsy bossa novas Krebs heard while living and performing in Holland. Check it out on your favorite digital platforms.
