A Brief History of the AEF

Almost Elite Films (AEF) was founded in 2018, at the time it was originally under the name of Frank De Frank Films, and it strictly produced short films. Since then the AEF has grown to incorporate a web series, a podcast, and it will continue to grow in the entertainment industry spanning multiple media outlets, such as theatre and wrestling.

In its short lifespan, Almost Elite Films has managed to find success with their audience through the films The Mystery Solved and Enchanted Mafia. AEF was even nominated and has won awards at multiple film festivals such as Best Canadian Thriller for the short Paranoia at the 3rd 300 Seconds Short Film Festival, Best Comedy for the short Enchanted Mafia at the 2018 Summer Edition of the Alternative Film Festival, and the Jury Award for Best Short Film at the 2018 Continental Film Festival.
