When I finished school and I was floundering around not knowing wtf to do with my life I fell more and more in love with surfing and eventually my goal become to surf around the world, making videos seemed like the right path to creating that lifestyle. I spent all my money on a camera, poured every spare second of my time outside of my bar job for two years into it and now I am reaping the rewards of that work. I’m thinking about taking my brother on a surf trip to Indonesia when he graduates, a little blowout celebration! 10k likes and I’ll buy his ticket and surprise him with it! It’s a frightening prospect, I remember even just dropping a friend at the international airport made me incredibly anxious but within days of getting on the move, all those feelings dissipate and the excitement of the unknown filled the void. #travel #whyyoushouldtravel #personaldevelopment

This spot has sentimental value to me, when I started surfing at 17, my little brother and I would wake up at 3:30 in the summer time, before school, and drive to this break. We’d jump of the rocks as complete kooks and surf well into the morning, missing the first hour or so of school pretty much every day (somehow never really got in trouble).
