HON. MOHAMMED J. UMAR, THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF SARDAUNA LGC, OVERSEES THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD ITEMS TO THE SARDAUNA COMMUNITY.

Hon. Mohammed, in his capacity to ensure the distribution of food items to the grassroots, He facilitated the process of food distribution today in Sardauna LGC. These items were distributed to all wards, represented by their councilors, as well as to the supervisory councilors, special advisers, traditional councils, NULGE, party faithfuls, CAN, Muslim Council, youth groups, NYCN, security agencies, vigilante groups, hunters' association, and other groups and associations in Sardauna Local Government.

Addressing the populace of Sardauna Local Government, Hon. Mohammed expressed his gratitude to His Excellency for his compassion towards the people and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) for the intervention. He emphasized that this kind gesture will not be taken for granted. He highlighted that the Governor has consistently ensured that, despite the hardships, the people of Taraba State should not bear the brunt of the subsidy removal. He urged all councilors and group leaders to ensure that these food items reach their members and the grassroots. He warned against the sale of these food items within the community, stating that anyone found guilty would face consequences. He also mentioned that recipients would have their phone numbers recorded to allow the council to track the distribution and ensure the items reached the intended beneficiaries. The chairman further urged the people of Sardauna Local Government to pray for His Excellency for continued progress and development on the Mambilla Plateau.

In an overwhelming show of gratitude, the people of Sardauna Local Government thanked His Excellency for consistently meeting the needs of its citizens. They also noted the executive chairman's transparency in the distribution process by including everyone and implementing a tracking system to ensure the items reached the grassroots.
