At long last, our 46th Episode is out!
This wonderful episode we talk about the CRISPR Knockout Dry-Hopped Pilsner (a real treat) and read some poems by the researcher, federal Indian Policy Scholar and poet Heather Cahoon, who is from the Flathead Reservation and is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kiotenai Tribes. Her book “Horsefly Dress” shares the story of Coyote and her little-known daughter, Horsefly Dress, and confronts the grief from Coyote’s transformation of the world in his decisions to leave certain evils on Earth, and how that impacts Cahoon and her community today.
Alyx and Erica were thrilled to finally record, so join us for a great conversation! Cheers, y’all.
