I can’t explain the happiness I felt being back at Basta. A place I spent so many nights laughing, eating delicious food, and finding a home away from home. Congrats to this team as what they’re doing now is also equally as special and important.

Don’t forget that this dinner is in support of - December reservations just opened!

Once Upon a Time...

Comino started as a desire to share my own personal food stories and experiences with other people. I had kept all these random notes and photographs of my travelling adventures and decided to take a leap, jump head first, and start sharing my own points of view with the world.

Whether it was through photographs, essays, food puns, or terrible attempts at cooking difficult things I started creating a world where both inspirational and lighthearted moments could exist together. Slowly, but surely I've started to create a community around Comino where I’ve had the pleasure to meet wonderful people and experience moments I never thought I would.

So here we are fighting the good fight choosing the “better story” as opposed to “dry, yeastless, factuality.”
