Very rarely in these spaces do you find genuine people without an agenda who simply want to do the work. Seth is one of those people.

In the early 1900s, an African-American community formed along Barfield Road and Abernathy Road. It was sometimes called Dewald’s Alley. The tenement and row houses were home to many African-Americans who came to the area as sharecroppers and farmers. Sometime in the early 1920s, Mt. Mary Church and School opened near what is today Cherry Tree Lane. The school had one teacher and taught first through seventh grade and was the only school for African-Americans at the time.

Anyone recognize these two unidentified women standing in front of the Mt. Mary Church and School?

Good Morning Dontaye. This is Jaeden your neighbor(Natalie and Dimys Son) I wanted to ask a favor. I’m doing a project for a HOSA(Healthcare Occupation Students of America) that involves community awareness. My group is doing injury prevention for the elderly communities and the athlete community. One of the things we are wanting to do is promote our community outreach by partnering with community members and local businesses. I ain’t gotta tell yall who we rooting for today. Just know who I’m still kneeling with and that I still appreciate what did for me, my daughter, and our entire community when he took a knee on the biggest stage that Sundays have to offer.

That one on one convo we had in the A still inspires me and thats why I keep showing up with Kyleigh. This has always been about making a better world.

2023 was about happiness, healing, and hope. We faced challenges, but we also found strength and resilience within ourselves. I don’t know who needs to hear this but… make sure your spouse is a rider and your kid knows how to buckle up and roll because life is a wild ride. I’m just thankful for my riders.
