I rarely do this. 😆 But I feel much more comfortable pouring my heart out by writing than making a video.

Not because of shyness or anything, maybe I just love writing. It's a millennial thingy I guess.

It's been MONTHS I last updated my feed. And thought it would be nice to let y'all know what happened.

I didn't take sabbatical leave or anything. I'm still here, still doing the same thing. Still the same o' person here (but maybe different a little? 🤔).

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great month and end of the year! It's been such a chest-tight year to most of us, but I know we all fighting a quiet battle from the back.

Not everything needed to be shared or talked about. Just a quiet prayer for everyone to feel better would be nice. 🥰

2026 is about to usher in soon. I wished 2026 would be much kinder, and better to all of us! ❤️
PS: I am still here. But my content direction would be a little different than before. So stay tuneeeeed. (I rather reactivate back this account with new look & direction 😆)

Well, it’s been months and I have been searching for the purpose to be here.

Not gonna lie, it ain’t easy. When one day I just woke up and had a thought of “I have nothing else to teach…” whereas we USED to do content during the pandemic days and keep sharing the knowledge with people around.

Things have been moving so quickly and AI has taken almost 80% of the work now—it’s either you adapt or you’re going to lose out. Like me, I wasn’t going to be another “content creating agency”, competing in the red ocean with all bigger budget agencies or those marketing agencies that have 5-10 people working. I know for sure I can’t win over them in terms of producing video content or slashing price.

So, I do what I do best — designing.

And tbh, THAT’S what I love, in everything. Of course, I can shoot video, I can edit video, but that is not my passion (I can do it for fun but not to monetise).

And knowing I took charge of my own business after month battling with depression and anxiety working with certain brands—is truly a big breakthrough to me. Of course, it’s still not perfect, yet. But one day for sure, I’ll be able to work on my terms. 🤗

Our Ins and Outs of 2025! 🎉
These are some of the Ins and Outs that I have been thinking about for the past few days before penning them down.

But I gotta say the biggest takeaway from last year (which I learned), is to NEVER FEEL GUILTY of taking day offs. And of course, protect my boundaries and inner peace.

And I find that I used to seek "validation" from online 2-3 years ago by *oversharing* what I'm up to or something along the line. As I looked back and thought for a second, I don't think that's what I wanted at all. Seeking validation is probably the last thing I ever need in my life. I know it's part of "marketing" technique to be authentic yadayada, but do you know? Less sharing about what happening around your day is a flex these days?

People are getting tired with so many overshared news and the negativity that spread like wildfire in social media. And the way to connect with people genuinely now js to —surprisingly— not oversharing. Move on, and move about your life without the need to tell people what's happening. 😉

What taught us as a SMM since 2020: things changed every year. From the trend, to content creation technique to algorithm. And each business has different objectives to achieve in social media as well as going with different marketing approach.

So the first step for you to know is to nail down WHICH platform you get the most results from, ie: active followers, sales & whatnot.

And the rest would be easier for you to tackle one by one.
