We had a great experience tagging along with a MN DNR Conservation Officer over the weekend. Takeaway knowledge gained is to make sure you have a valid fishing license on you. Follow regulations including the amount of lines you can fish at a time. If you are boating be certain to have proper registration on your vessel, correct amount of life jackets and a throwable. Lastly, be nice to the officer if you see them out in the field.

It's that time of the season to be on the lookout for small friends as they make their way into this beautiful world! Found this little one in the middle of a bike path at Hyland Park and needed to bring it to a safer home. Don't be afraid to help a friend in need! No kind act is too small!
