BFW Recordings is 10 years old!
It's been quiet for a while but there is definitely some unfinished business. so you haven't quite heard the last from us yet!

Thanks to all the wonderful musicians who shared so much great music and to everyone who supported us along the way.

The new ambient shoegaze EP from Manchester, UK-based producer Bing Satellites. Influenced by Harold Budd and Ulrich Schnauss, amongst others, this is a pure joy - from the quiet piano of 'Never Forgotten' to the full blown wall-of-sound electronic shoegaze epic that is 'Forever'.

It will save me and you lots of time. The music for this album is to be created on Saturday. Not today, not Sunday or any other day.

An album of songs by musicians from around the world, all completely written and recorded in one day. On Saturday 22nd August 2015, musicians from around the world will each write and recorded a complete new song, from scratch in one day. The next day, these songs will be collected and put together…

Album In A Day news! It's been quite a while but I'm thinking we could do Album In A Day volume 10 on 22nd August (and release the album on 24th August).
Does anyone have a reason why this would be a bad date - religious holidays or what-have-you?

BFW recordings will be taking part in the very first Netlabel Day on 14th July 2015 - a day to promote and celebrate the music and work of netlabels around the world.
Our offering on that day will be an album of city inspired ambient music by label founder Bing Satellites, the follow up to the album More.
